Brookside Friendly Service

I have been going to this station for years to have both my commercial and personal automobiles serviced and find them to be the most honest small town mechanics I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. My main contact is Guy who always takes the time to provide me with a thorough analysis of what the vehicles need. They always find a way to get my cars in when it is convenient for me and I have found the workmanship to be excellent. We have some very old vehicles that have taken a beating and they keep them running well for us. Highly recommend these guys for their honesty and genuine appreciation of their customers.

The core repair guys are really nice, and seem like they are honest. I feel lucky to use this place and walk there! I’ve been to some really SHADY places and this place is not shady. Recommend!

Yikes, I just saw a recent review that said the attendants there are «lowlifes.» Not saying she didn’t have some kind of bad experience. The outward appearance of the place is a bit run down looking. But I do know I’ve been going there for years for gas and service — after several neighbors independently recommended the place. In my experience they’ve all been very friendly and helpful. They even wash my windows sometimes — which I haven’t seen anyone else do in years. We also get our cars serviced here. The head mechanic Guy is terrrific. He always has good advice, tries to keep the costs down, and had helped us out on short notice. What I also like is he never does work that isn’t necessary. Been a few times when he had an opportunity to steer us to big ticket repairs and instead recommended simpler and less expensive solutions. I used to take my aging BMW to the dealership and would pay several hundreds or even thousands a visit. I think my biggest repair ever with Guy was a few hundred bucks for comparable work.
