I recently discovered bellisima I can honestly say I am very pleased with everything about this place the owner and staff are very professional and friendly. It is a very boutiquey, cozy setting. I was also pleasantly surprised that they also have a hair stylist Eve whom I had a pleasant experience with she corrected a haircut and styled it as well I was very very happy. Now I can get my waxing and hair done in one place. Highly recommend…

Hard to fine a place here in Jersey, Summit area that does good eyebrows. I’ve been coming here for months and love the staff and they do a fantastic job on my brows. Yes I’m extremely picky when it comes to brows. Brows can really define a look.

With over 20 years experience Veronica is very talented with hair. After talking to her for a bit I knew I could trust her and told her she had permission to do whatever she wanted with my hair. Boy was I happy leaving there. I got my haircut here and even though it’s more than I normally pay its well worth the money. I’d rather go see someone whose been doing hair all her life then someone whose been doing it for several years. She pointed out all the mistakes my previous hairstylist had done and was able to fix them. On top of being so talented she has an amazing personality. Win win situation here!

Have been getting eyebrows trimmed at Bellissima for many months and have been very happy. The owner told me she planned on seeking «the best hairdresser.» After realizing my hair had been mistreated by many stylists, I decided to give Veronika (the new stylist at Bellissima) a try. My hair looked fabulous and what is the best ever: I did not have to run home and «re-​do» my hair. In fact, that night I went to book club only to receive high fives from 5 book club members! Since then I have returned about 3 more times and have not been disappointed. Two days ago I went for color and a trim, and my hair is better than it has been in quite some time. It is easy to style and doesn’t take a lot of time. My daughter was also happy about getting her hair color corrected by Veronika. I give Veronika 5 stars wholeheartedly. CER

Veronika definitely knows how to cut hair! She works with the type of hair you have and she listens to what you want. Several months ago I got a terrible cut at another salon and I didn’t know where to go next but I am so happy I found Veronika. She gave me a great cut and even made me look younger.

Wow! I had a wonderful first visit with Renata. I came in with somewhat «botched» eyebrows and Renata took the time to explain to me how she was going to fix them. She is very friendly, professional, and meticulous (she even measured my eyebrows!). The facility is also very clean and spa-​like. I will definitely be returning and sending all my friends!

Renata is a genius. There is truly no other way to say it. I am INCREDIBLY particular about my eyebrows and can notice one incorrectly tweezed hair. A friend recommended that I see Renata and I was hesitant because I am really, really picky about my brows and have left more than one salon in tears. But my brows were not reaching their full potential and I knew it was time for a change. So, I agreed to see Renata… but I was nervous. I think she was able to sense my apprehension because she really took her time getting a sense of what look I was going for and making sure she had the shape exactly right and stopping throughout the procedure to let me look and to make sure I was completely comfortable. The result? After a wax and dye job, I can honestly say that they have never, ever looked better. Renata is simply gifted and she was able to conceive of the most flattering possible shape for me and execute it in the most comfortable way leading to a perfect outcome. Seeing Renata is not convenient for me, but I’d travel a lot longer to get to her and have her unleash her talent on my brows. Ten stars. GO!

I have had bikini and brazilian waxes at many different places and I can honestly say that Renata is the most professional, skillful and least painful waxer I have encountered. Definitely recommend Renata.

After many attempts at searching for a decent local waxer, the arduous journey has ended. I decided to put my faith in Bellissima based on their fantastic Unilocal reviews. I got my eyebrows waxed by Caroline and I was not disappointed. The space is very clean and new and I immediately felt comfortable upon entering the building.
Since it was my first time at the salon, Caroline thoroughly explained her process of shaping my brows. She took her time to mark where the eyebrows should start, where it should arch, and where it should end, based on my facial features. Most importantly, she asked for my input and what kind of shape/​look I prefer. The wax was gentle yet effective, and the process painless.
The cost of the brow wax was steeper than most at $ 23, but it was well worth it. Already looking forward to my next appointment!

Let me start by saying that (1) I have never had anything waxed before, and (2) I found and chose Bellissima solely based on their stellar Unilocal reviews. I am happy to report that Bellissima surpassed my already-​high expectations!
I got a Brazilian wax from Jane, the owner. Any anxiety I had about the wax soon went away; Jane put me right at ease and I knew I was in good hands. Her work was sanitary, thorough, and very careful. Yes, it hurts for a little bit, but nothing near what I was expecting (I did take Advil about 20 minutes before my appointment – I’m sure it helped). For a first timer, and as someone who does not have a high tolerance for pain, I was pleasantly surprised by the easy process.
I am a Brazilian wax CONVERT now, ladies! I can’t wait to spread the good word and tell all my friends to go to Bellissima for their next wax! I kind of can’t wait to go back for round 2! :)

As previous reviewers have said, my search for a new waxer has ended! I previously was at Euro Wax but found the high turnover rate and rushed experience less than ideal. I came to Christine for an eyebrow and Brazilian and I am so so so happy with the result. The wax they use is nice and gentle but also effective! I was nervous because I am 6.5 months pregnant and haven’t been waxed in some time, but it was actually a very pleasurable experience. Christine was so nice and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I also got a spray tan using their fancy machine and I loved it– so easy to use and I feel great. Happy customer!

Very happy with the service here. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I got a facial here and my face felt absolutely wonderful afterwards! Christine is great!

I think my quest for a waxing studio in NJ has come to an end. I came here with a Groupon that I purchased not knowing what to expect. I not only received great service but a very clean and precise wax. The studio is very clean inside, the wax used is good quality and the staff is professional and does a superb job in a relatively quick time. I have been to many waxing salons in NJ and so far this is definitely my favorite.

After looking for a while for a new person to wax my eyebrows I heard about Christine. She is amazing at what she does, told her what I wanted my eyebrows to look like-​she exceeded my expectations. I will not go to anyone else. Loved her work so much I had to follow her to her new location. Christine is very friendly and takes her time to make sure that you leave a happy client. If you are looking to get waxed or a facial Christine is the person to go to! You will NOT regret it.

Went to Christine and got a brazilian wax. i have been a client of christine for 8 years now. this new location she is working in is very clean and the other employees are very professional. Christine is very very professional and patient. She makes sure that you feel comfortable and understand the work she is doing. This is a very clean facility.
The wax was excellent, least painful wax that has ever been used. I suggest everyone going there for their waxing services and DEFINATELY ASK TO GET WAXED BY CHRISTINE. She is excellent you will NOT regret this. You will absolutely become a regular of Christine once you have the same experience as I.

I used to get waxed in NYC, but recently moved to NJ. After some pretty awful experiences trying to find a local waxer, I can absolutely say that Bellissima measures up to any of the best NYC waxers.
My appointment was with Caroline, she takes her time (don’t expect to be in and out in 30 mins) and does a supremely thorough job. I got my eyebrows, bikini and upper legs done and it was a painless experience. Caroline was such a sweetheart to talk to as well, just all around a fantastic experience with equally fantastic results!

Got a Brazilian wax from Caroline last month and decided that as long as I live in NJ, I will never get waxed anywhere else. It was the most thorough, longest lasting, and least painful wax I’ve ever gotten!
And they might still have a promotion– 25% off for a wax with Caroline because she just joined this fall! Which makes it the cheapest wax you’ll find anywhere.
I’ve tried about a dozen salons in NJ and CT for Brazilians, and have always had to choose between
1) The European Wax Center-​type hard wax, which is less painful but also much less thorough. I would always see stray hairs after I left, and the rest of the hair grew back quickly.
2) The soft wax with strips which is excruciating but thorough.
The wax they use at Belissima is a special kind of hard wax that is less painful than soft wax but also picks up all the hair. The waxing process took longer than usual but the pain was much lower in intensity.
I was nervous about getting the new waxer– Caroline– but she turned out to be incredibly experienced and very friendly! She’s clearly been waxing for many years. She never double dipped and twice tested the temperature of the wax to make sure it wouldn’t burn. The level of hygiene at Belissima is akin to what you’d see at a medical clinic– gloves, a separate cup of wax for each client, new stick for each application of wax, never going over the same area twice in a row.
This is a great place for a first time waxer– or anyone really! Caroline and Jane are experts who take their work very seriously and friendly enough to immediately put you at ease.

Jane took waxing to another level! A painless process (she is SOOO gentle) in a beyond spotless facility. Jane is extremely cautious and takes her time waxing … not like other places where they just want you out asap. She is a genuine caring person and will make sure you have the best experience every time you go!

Jane is extremely professional and kind hearted. I have been going to her for over 2 years and have never experienced a negative appointment. She is always cheerful and personable. Most importantly her work place is super clean. She has waxed pretty much every part of my body and given me facials. I Highly recommend!!!

Jane is amazing at what she does. Her specialty is eyebrows. She takes her time and is extremely meticulous. She makes me feel at ease whenever I see her. I usually get a Brazilian, upper lip, and eyebrow wax. One last thing, she makes the whole process as painless as possible!
