History

Established in 1994.

When the owner Captain Markus came off the road from working in the music business he was already familiar with the Lower Florida Keys and it’s wildlife, fishing and history because he spent so much of his free time hanging out the the old «moss backed» guides who made this place great in the early years. In his 20 plus years in the Keys he has learned the secrets and wonders of the Backcountry and decided to share his knowledge and then decided to open the business. We Do Fun is one of his «mottos»

The business has been going strong and is expected to have another banner year from it’s Summerland Key location. With years of fun in the future on the water to be had by all.

When i came to the Keys I thought this was the «real Florida». It’s just amazing the water and wildlife and sealife are spectacular and so after working in music for several years and owning my own company I decided to open the business as I had been coming here since the early 80’s. I had learned over the years from many of the best guides and naturalists in the area and have extensive knowledge of everything that lives here whether it flies, swims, or crawls. we’ll teach you much about this place including a natural history that many don’t know about and have some fun at the same time.
