We provide septic tank and sewer turnkey installation and service, including main line construction, grinder pump installation and service, lift station and treatment facility operations and maintenance. Since our beginning in 1998, we have grown to serve approximately 14,000 customers, with current permitted capacity to service 20,000.

History

Established in 1998.

The company was founded in 1998 by a group of local developers and investors to serve developments where sewer service was unavailable. The system has grown by expansion and acquisition of municipal systems to serve roughly 11,200 customers with current permitted capacity to service 20,000. BCSS operates over 2.5 million feet of sewer force mains and over 140 lift stations covering 450 square miles, from the tip of Fort Morgan to south of Bay Minette, making it the largest private sewer company by coverage area in the state.

BCSS has three treatment facilities; Fort Morgan, in Lillian and Plantation Hills, east of Malbis. BCSS operates by NPDES permit administered by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), in accordance with and subject to the provisions of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, The Alabama Water Pollution Control Act, and the Alabama Environmental Management Act.
