Awesome food. Awesome service! When anyone comes into town this is our local go to restaurant. We have had parties of 30 at a time there for birthday parties and they have always provided us with the best food and service. This is a perfect compromise for my wife and I because I do not like pasta at all no matter where I eat it, so I get either their pizza or Stromboli. Which are awesome! They bring out rolls before your meal and they do not last long at our table because we all love them so much.

Good local spot to grab a quick bite. The service is quick and the food is good. I usually get the small pizza with a couple toppings and I have been disappointed. It not NYC but best your going to get in Sulphur, LA

Who said good Italian food has to be expensive? Joe’s Pizza and Pasta certainly disagrees! Located in the modest town of Sulphur, this Italian restaurant wins the hearts of the locals(Including the mayor which I found eating there!) by delivering a decent culinary experience at an affordable price. Perhaps the most attractive part on the restaurant menu is the weekday lunch special, which has about ten choices of entrees for only $ 8.50. The moment you come in, you get free bread(and garlic olive oil if you asked) so that’s a bonus there. My choice of eggplant Parmesan did not disappoint even at such a cheap price as the eggplant was covered with generous amount of cheese and the right amount of sauce that makes it flavorful without being overwhelming. Served on the side is a small amount of spaghetti pasta with meat sauce to fill you up even more. For a cheap price, you get a good amount of decent Italian food, which is pretty hard to beat, so if you are working around or driving by I-10 on a weekday lunchtime, consider stopping by this local establishment!

I especially like their dipping oil loaded with spices! Their spaghetti with meat sauce, lasagna, an chicken Alfredo are all very good. It would be even better if it had a better atmosphere for dining, but the food is very good!

Great food!!! I had the shrimp Alfredo and it was delicious. The sauce was creamy and tasty. The shrimp were huge and the portion of the plate was enough for me to share with my daughter. The kids loved the pizza. It’s a good place to satisfy adults and kids since they might be picky about the sea food. I’m from Texas and I haven’t tasted shrimp Alfredo this good. Definitely would recommend you going there. Enjoy!!!

We were passing through on our way to Houston and wanted some good, Italian food. We found just that at Joe’s. I had the Chicken with mushrooms in cream sauce and my husband had the chicken Parmesan. Both were delicious! In addition, the tiramisu was EXCELLENT! Service was great. Eat at Joe’s!

We stopped here while traveling east to Florida. My DH asked if they could combine chicken/sausage/artichokes over spicy marinara & penne. Our server Kallie didn’t skip a beat and said«sure.» I had the chicken parm w/angel hair. The portions were beyond generous and delicious. Add to that the fresh rolls with garlic dipping oil. Delightful experience with great food and family friendly service.

The food was delicious. Hubby ordered the chicken Romano with added Italian sausage. Although it says it’s a spicy dish, it’s light on the spice. I couldn’t decide between a red or white sauce dish, so I went with the shrimp linguine since it’s a pink sauce dish. I was pleasantly surprised to see it came with big beautiful gulf shrimp. My only complaint with that dish is the tails were still on the shrimp. However, I’m so glad the pasta wasn’t overcooked. So many places overcook their pasta. My son ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It had a crispy crust and soft gooey cheese. You may want to blot up some of the grease the cheese and pepperoni that separates when it cooks. Otherwise it was good. We also got a tiramisu. It was light but rich. I just wish they didn’t drizzle Hershey’s syrup on it. It brought the dish down a bit, as it could stand on its own without it, if they didn’t want to use real chocolate. Just a minor complaint. The service was on point, friendly, helpful and fast.

We were on our way home to Baton Rouge from Houston. We took the exit off I-10 to Ruth St. to see what we could find Joe’s still looked busy at 7pm and we decided to take a chance and we a glad we did. The bread was awesome the a crisp crust and soft(not doughy) inside. My entrée was the Chicken Picatta. It was a huge serving of two chicken breasts with spaghetti. The sauce was deliciously tangy and loaded with capers. For dessert i had the Limoncello Cake was excellent also. My husband ordered the Chicken Carchofini. The two chicken breasts where ensconced in at decadent white wine cream sauce with artichoke hearts. He enjoyed the creamy Tiramisu for dessert. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. We never wanted for anything. We look forward to going back!

Okay so we’re driving down from New York… and clearly have high expectations when it comes to pizza! This place was awesome and our waiter Nathan exactly how to help us order! So he really helped us pick the right combination. You are vegetarian try the vegetable pizza with a pink sauce… And if you like a little kick the penne arbita was phenomenal! Will definitely stop here again!
