Thank you for making Van Wijk Winery one of your destinations of choice. Attend a Special Event or host your own event. We are located at 802 4^th Street in Sully, IA. Situated in Jasper County amongst a lovely landscape of timber and farmland, you can find us between Des Moines (39 miles) and Iowa City (78 miles) along the historical Diamond Trail, used in 1848 by Gold Rush traffic. Our boutique winery specializes in the simplicity and intimacy of small gatherings, and enhances your event with bold style and elegance. It’s a hidden nugget for corporate meetings, seminars, award dinners, small weddings, and special family events. The Van Wyk Family has taken great pride in designing, building, and decorating our boutique winery for your visual and audio entertainment.

Its stoned façade was inspired by 16^th Century European Castles, including crenellations and merlons above our Bed & Breakfast Tower Suite. Inside the winery you will see a variety of elegant decorative painting techniques including brilliant bronze metal, brushed pearl for a sophisticated dimensional iridescent faux finish, Venetian plaster for a glamorous look of polished marble and natural stone, royal colors, and accents of stone and brick.

Our grape selections are a reflection of our international family. All of our wines are fermented, blended, and bottled on-​site and range from dry to sweet including sparkling, fruity, and dessert wines. Stop and enjoy delicious wine in a cozy ambiance.

History

Established in 2001.

Roger and Rebecca Van Wyk, in a family endeavor with their sons Jon and Adam and their wives Svetlana and Graciela (Pily), are all taking an active role in bringing to life their dream of a boutique family winery and in creating some lasting fun together.
