Great place for lunch. Sit outside on the picnic tables and enjoy the smell of the pines. I had the vegetable sandwich and substituted cream cheese for avocado which was fresh and delicious served on homemade bread and a wheat-​free chocolate chip cookie. My husband had the breakfast burrito. Ingredients were fresh and wholesome.

We have been coming to the area every summer for about 10 years, but we only stumbled upon Alicia’s about 5 years ago. Now it is a NECESSARY part of our vacation! Lovely people, lovely service, AMAZING pastries, quiches, etc. We’ve only been for breakfast, so can’t speak to lunch options. Some seating within, as well as some tables outside. Always some regulars outside with their dogs, which my kids love. Can be somewhat crowded in the mornings, but they work through the line quickly and get food out asap. Great memories here!

This is one of those places I really don’t want to tell people about so I can keep it to myself! But it’s just too good not to share.
Alicia’s is just plain wonderful. Their scones, sticky buns and other baked goods are to die for. Our favorite for breakfast is the ham and cheese croissant. They also make great eggs Benedict.
Going for lunch? Do NOT miss the Cubano.
Alicia’s also does catering. She catered my husband’s birthday last year, and also our neighbor’s Christmas party, the stuffed mushrooms are wonderful, and we loved the quinoa salad.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Alica’s sugar shack is my favorite place in Tuolumne county! Everything is so yummy! My favorite though is the pork and avocado breakfast burrito and a triple shot of espresso with whipped crème. All the pastries and muffins are really awesome also. I love the atmosphere and Alica is always so friendly. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area as a must go to spot!

Stopped in for a quick bite before heading off to Yosemite during our stay in Twain Harte and we decided on an acai bowl and the MLE sandwich. Both were pretty good but not the best we’ve had. I was a little disappointed that not all the fruit pictured in the bowl came with the one that we had ordered. The portions on the sandwich were huge though. We took it to-​go and shared it at the park and were satisfied.
We really wish we had come earlier to try some of their infamous pastries but by the time we got there (around 11:30) most of the items had sold out and it was pretty slim pickings. So come early if you can help it!
Everyone in the place is super friendly but it may take a little longer than expected to get your food when it’s busy in there. Although the place is super cozy and small, we didn’t mind it at all and would love to visit again if we ever go back to Yosemite!

Delicious and hearty breakfast burritos. Friendly staff. There’s very little space inside and it gets very crowded but after some wait we were able to snag a table (there are only 4) I recommend it to anyone looking for breakfast in the go. Delish!

I’m impressed with this small place. It offers fairly nutritious items that have a higher quality to it than most places in that area. Way better than the ugly big corporate STARBUCKS :(I enjoyed my breakfast burrito, cookies, fruit smoothies, and whatever else I’ve ordered the few times I’ve been there. I love the outside seating, 4 tables to hang out, or the 4 tables inside. Otherwise, it’s take the items to go, which many do. I do like to hang inside or out. They offer alternatives and custom dishes depending if you want something added or taken out of one of the dishes. You could get a vegan burrito or a vegetarian breakfast burrito, for example. They have non milk options for coffees and teas. They are simply a go to in that area on the way for a hike, or skiing. No tips needed, you pick up your items at the counter. Save the $ that way. Check it out, I’ll be back.

If there was an Alicia’s sugar shack next to every Starbucks in America, she would put them out of business… STRAIGHT UP.
Super sweet girl, with a fabulous little shop where they bake everything from scratch! So awesome!
We had peach cobbler muffins, lemon cheesecake muffins, peach sweet danishes, and triple shot white mochas. So effin good. I don’t know where this girl learned how to bake, but she absolutely RULES!
Love this little spot, and i will make it my first stop on our next fishing trip!

Alright, I’m coming of the mountain after a couple of days at the lake and I’m without, first coffee and second food in my gut.
Blessed to see this place as I’m screaming down the road. Bam!
Hot fresh coffee, peach cobbler muffin and a sticky bun. I’m done.
Super service and nothing more. Perfectly smooth.

Really good cinnamon rolls are to be had here. We put milk in the snow then go skiing a dine at lunch with red apples, grapes, walnuts or m and m gorp. Plus they put in a spice garden to embellish all Thor culinary creations. Be prepared to wait. They Rock.

Firstly, I came here for the sweets. Some days those will be sold out by late morning… because they are that delicious!
The meals are always excellent. Biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, sandwiches… Yum to it all! Menu does change almost daily, I believe.
So far every coffee order has been made to perfection, something that is surprisingly hard for many places.
The price is right where it should be, helps you feel even more satisfied when you leave with a happy full belly.
The indoor dining options are limited, but the outside features several benches under huge pines. Dog friendly, people friendly, share a table friendly. A lovely place to chill and converse.

My new fave place in all of Tuolumne County! Had a delicious triple shot espresso and shared a huge roasted pork breakfast burrito with my boyfriend. Sooooo Yummy! Alica is super friendly and you feel welcome as soon as you enter the door. Everything looks so good can’t wait to try more dishes there. All the customers were definitely regulars and talked about how everything was delicious which is a good sign. If you have loyal customers you are doing something right. Great food, great prices, great atmosphere (such a cute place) and great service! I’ll definitely be back soon! :)
