We offer a wide variety of Fresh and Frozen Homestyle cooking from King Ranch to Beef Lasagna to Pot Roast. We also offer fresh salads with home made dressings, breads, soups and desserts all made from well-​loved family recipes. We cater to those that don’t have time to cook dinner or need to take a meal to a friend, from providing fresh meals for that night or frozen meals to stock a freezer. If we don’t have in stock what you are looking for, we can make it up the next day. We also offer Turkey Dinners during the holidays with all the fixings as well as catered Corporate Luncheons and special events.

History

Established in 2009.

For most people dinnertime is no longer a chance for families to relax, and share the day’s happenings around a nice meal. Nowadays, dinner means a quick meal to satisfy those hunger pangs, especially since everyone is so busy — soccer practice, band practice, meetings at work, graveyard shifts, errands, deadlines, and the list goes on.

So who has time to prepare a nice homemade dinner? TG’s To Go… Entrees & Catering does.

Mother and son team, Tomigay and Robert Dawson just wanted to return families to the dinner table. They wanted to make family meal time popular again. After careful planning, career changes and test runs, the Dawsons opened TG’s To Go… Entrees & Catering in Richmond. We are not a sit-​down restaurant establishment, we specialize in ready-​to-​go meals.

TG’s was both created and named after Dawson’s mother Tomigay Dawson, who was always called «TG» by her friends. Bringing families back to the table and eating together was her inspiration for TGs To Go.
