One 2 One Training Center

This is a great gym for any one from a bodybuilder to someone new to the gym. The staff is great and the owners are some of the most grateful people. Byron and violet walton treat everyone like family. There are some of the best personal trainers are here. And the equipment here is great. And the price is good compared to any gym in the area.

Stopped by here for a personal training session with Alan… It was a really good training session used to gage my skill level. It wasn’t light by no means and by the end of the session you could really tell he put me through the test. The gym seems small and I don’t know how packed it gets, but it looks to have effective results since one of my friends has been training with them and within a year she tried out for her first body competition. FYI… the blue mat has the perfect cushion for anyone with knee or lower back problem to do any type of exercises that require jumping.

I love working out here. It has a great atmosphere, close to home and they have the equipment needed to stay in shape. It’s a small gym, but It doesn’t get crowded.

The only reason I marked a star is just so I can write a review. If there is an option for negative star, I would give then –10. The owner of this gym is greedy. I got a phone call from one of their staff before my membership expired and the staff asked me if I wanted to renew. I confirmed to their staff that I did not want to renew. She agreed that she’ll take care of it. She did not specify that I needed to go to the gym in person to cancel my membership (I found out that this was the gym’s requirement when I called them today). Two months later, I got a letter from the collections saying I owe $ 250. I wrote back to the credit union saying I did not renew my membership and that I got a phone call from the gym confirming my non-​renewal. Unfortunately, I did not document the details of the phone call so my case is weak. But bottom line, this gym just wants your money.

If your serious about working out this is the place for you. You dont have to fight for those equipments… its a gym for serious people…

Customers should be aware of this business. It is not registered with the better business bureau, so if you have a problem (and you most likely will) you will have a very difficult time obtaining the money that you are owed or canceling your contract.

I agree with Chris K.
They lie to you for your business and put taking your money priority over you getting in shape. Two things they lied to me that really ticked me off were:
1. They said they would expand their gym by the end of August 2014. It’s now February 2015 and still no expansion.
2. No cancellation fee. They charged me $ 35 for cancelling. twice.
DON’T GO TO THIS GYM.

I love the fact that the gym is what a gym is supposed to be. They have personal trainers that willing to help out everyone in the gym. The equipment is set up in a way that allows one to focus on their workout, not deal with the chaos of a typical gym in Sugar Land.

This is without a doubt the best gym in the Sugar Land area.
I’m often asked ‘what amenities does my gym have?’ the best answer I can offer… work. This is not a ‘pick-​up’ scene, or a large chain that pushes people through like cattle. The owner are both knowledgeable and personable. People come to One 2 One to work and get results plain and simple.
So, if you are someone who needs ‘amenities’ in your gym, this isn’t the place for you. But if you like working hard, then working a bit harder, and being around people who all work hard and share in one another success this is the place for you.
I always use the Cheer’s analogy. It’s a local spot, run by locals, where just about everyone either knows your name, or at the very least will go out of their way to encourage you.

The best compliment I can pay to a gym is
that it is what Hank’s Gym used to be. It is the epitome of «real gym». Not for everyone but that’s the appeal of this gym. A more raucous, hardcore smaller more personal venue where men are men and the women sometimes are too. Great trainers, occasional drama, sweat, grunting and no shortage of muscle give this place the atmosphere that is reminiscent of the bodybuilding heyday that was the 80s.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is not your 24 hour or lifetime fitness, but the people work work and work out here are serious about fitness. Just being in this gym motivates me to do better not just in fitness, but also in life. And the eye candy!!!
