I have been a patient for several years and the quality of care has become substandard. Do not select this practice for your primary care. Beginning with the long wait times and then the physician (Tellez) spends minimal amount of time to make an appropriate diagnosis. Little to zero physical assessment is performed. The nurse told me the doctor is allowed up to 2 weeks to return lab results. If you call at 8am in the morning to speak with the doctor or nurse, you may not receive a return call until the next day. If you need a referral, they state they are allowed up to 7 days to process the referral. All of these policies are substandard. You do not have to select this practice. There are many other high quality physicians to choose.

This was my first time coming to this branch as a patient myself. I have been here on other occasions for mother’s appointments. I arrived 45 minutes early yet I was not seen until 15 minutes after my appointment. While the waiting room is very spacious and clean, I do not see a reason for such a long wait as the office was not very crowded with patients.
I was attended to by a nurse who was very nice and skilled with using their very old and outdated equipment. While it was impressive that she was able to use that kind of equipment, the measurements were not the most accurate. There must be some disorganization because some of my measurements were recorded inaccurately in the report at the end of my visit.
I saw Dr. Ana Corteguera, who my parents also usually see. As a first time patient, I expected her to spend some time hearing my medical history but she rushed me through the entire visit. I felt as though she did not really care about my problems and just wanted to get me in and out of there was fast as possible. In fact, I even forgot to talk about something I had been meaning to ask a doctor because of that. Furthermore, instead of discussing treatment and testing options with me, she just chose the one that was the most convenient for her, which of course, happened to be the most expensive costing one for me.
All in all, I think that this office can certainly improve its efficiency and if you had to visit this branch, I would recommend seeing someone else besides Dr. Corteguera.

I have been seeing Dr Julie Hung for years even before she became part of Methodist Hospital. She is extremely nice and caring and always takes the time to listen. My only reason for leaving off a star is the long wait times and what appears to be a lot of disorganization with medical records and information. Almost every time I go I get told they are upgrading or changing their system. How many times can you use that excuse? I drive all the way from the northwest side to Sugarland to see Dr Hung but she is the reason not the constant system problems and wait times.

Dr. Melida Tellez is the nicest doctor who really cares about her patients. She always follows up with you on your labs and things move pretty smoothly in the office.

I hate to do this because I have been seeing Dr. Diamond for a long time and she and her nurse are PURE PERFECTION — but my husbands new doctor and her nurse Belinda — major failure. Belinda was lacking in professionalism and basic intelligence for all that I could tell. They refused to help us in a medical emergency situation and were lacking empathy. I would find a place that is better suited to take care of you opposed to herding you in and out like cattle trying to make money off of our insurance companies. If I had my way Belinda would lose her licence as a RN. I don’t intend to stop here. We were treated so horribly that this needs to be heard loud and clear by her boss and their bosses. You almost killed my husband due to your laziness and overall lack of concern for a patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Seva Papageorge for a number of years. She an amazing physician who makes you feel like a personal friend. She sits down with you and makes you feel instantly at ease. She makes the sometimes difficult task of talking to a doctor as easy as it can be. She is very knowledgeable and never tries to make you feel rushed out the door. She listens and talks to you as long as is necessary. I use her for my children as well. She treats them like her own and listens to them as individuals as well. If she must refer you to another doctor, she will check up on your progress and see how things are going. She will say, «Tell them you are mine and to take good care of you!» She means it, and again, follows up on your care. Excellent doctor in every way. She is personal and compassionate in every way. I’m thankful I found her! Perfect in every way.

I have been coming here for at least 5 years. Dr. Yana Finkelshteyn (Dr. Yana) is the best. She is friendly and knowledgeable and takes her time with you instead of rushing you out of there like other doctors I have seen in the past. She treats you more like a friend than a patient.
The office is nice and clean. Sometimes, you have a short wait but most of the time, I get there 15 minutes before my appointment and within 15 – 20 minutes, they call my name.
