Most places were charging almost double or even triple what Low Price Keys was asking. You can’t beat $ 70 for a replacement key. In addition to their great prices, they come to you. and on time.

Santiago is prompt and competent. He is not a rip off.
I went to Santiago, after many visits to my GM dealer; who required I leave my car for the day to program my RKE fob, and wanted $ 175.00.
A colleague of mine, who has done business with Santiago, recommended I pay him a visit. For one third the cost of a dealer ripoff price. I was able to get a new fob, programmed to my 2005 Malibu LS and on my way in 15min.
If you have any issues with your fob key remote, contact Santiago and get a reasonable quote. He’s the real deal, and his business is a steal of a deal.

I messaged Santiago for getting an additional key done for my car. It was very easy to schedule the appointment online and he definitely beats the price than anywhere else. He is very professional and easy to communicate with. Really good at what he does. He got the additional smart key for my car ready in no time. Nice, helpful guy, most inexpensive keys you’ll find anywhere, as he’s running the business out of his home (which is why there’s an unusual procedure for making reservations & getting the address).

I texted Santiago to see how much he would charge to program a key for me as I had just bought a salvage prius and the key would only work when plugged in. It would lock/​unlock the car and turn the engine on but the smark key system wouldn’t work. When I told him this, he told me to simply unpush the key button near my left knee.
Voila! He fixed my system. Toyota told me over the phone to do this would cost me $ 150, and he helped me out without asking for payment. A truly honest and genuine guy. Go for him for all your key needs, complete no brainer of a choice to make. He also offers the best pricing nearly 200 less than the dealer to program a spare sks prius key. Can’t be beat in price or service.

I usually do not write reviews because I expect excellent service when I am paying for it. I chose to write this review because the service and experience was beyond my expectations and I wanted to pass that experience on to others that need a spare key for their car or truck.
My wife and I were in Nevada at the end of 2014 and we lost the key to our Toyota truck. I say lost to be kind; actually the keys were stolen and we were stranded. unable to start the truck. We were in luck when my son decided to visit us and brought the spare keys from our home in Ca.
We knew that we needed to replace the spare keys so we would have a spare set; should this happen again. We called the Toyota dealer and were unable to get a price for a new set of keys and FOB. The answer we got was «it depends».
When we got back to Ca we visited a hardware store that advertised making «smart keys» but were told that they could not make keys for our Toyota Tundra 2013. Their price for a replacement key and FOB was $ 100 but it could have been any price because they were unable to do it.
We watched some U-​tube videos that showed how we could program the smart key ourselves and we decided to purchase the equipment to connect and communicate with the car computer when we found «Low Price Keys» on Craigslist.
We contacted Low Price Keys and made an appointment. We arrived a few minutes early and found that he was waiting for us. In less than 10 minutes the new key was programmed and the new FOB functional. We were in and out with a backup and really surprised how smooth and easy our need was satisfied. The experience was fantastic; no pressure, no problems.
Compared to the Toyota dealer this experience was exceptional. At Toyota, they could not quote me a price and I had to schedule a Service appointment. Here I had a reasonable price up front and his appointments were at my convenience. I highly recommend this company if you have a need for a new smart key.

So glad I found this guy! I’d lost one of my only 2 key fobs, and wanted to make sure I had a spare. Texted Santiago with my make and model and he replied back right away, made sure he had what I needed in stock and gave me a very reasonable quote (hundreds less than I would pay for the dealer). I made an appointment on his website that same week. Despite being 20 minutes late (came all the way from SF to see him!) he took me right away, programmed the new fob, and was done in about 5 minutes. New fob works perfectly. My only complaint is that I wish he had some more times available as I had to take off work but it’s his side business so he’s not available full time. DON’T PAY FOR THE DEALERSHIP… go see this guy! I saw his card at a laundromat and texted him. He responded back quickly with a quote and the quote was very reasonable. I made an appointment and he was able to get me a key fob for my Hyundai Elantra and program it in less than 10 minutes. He also programmed the fob that came with with my car for no additional charge.

As good as it gets. Service was quick and professional. I got a genuine Toyota Sienna smart key and saved over 50% compared to a dealer. It was worth it driving from the peninsula.

Actually found Santiago’s ad on Craigslist and linked to his eBay listings from his website. I ordered the remote key housing on eBay late Monday night and texted my key code to Santiago. It’s Wednesday morning and I have received the key in the mail. It looks like I could have included the key code in a note during the PayPal transaction but I didn’t see it at the time.
I have to mention that the key was of exceptional quality. The metal part was completely encased in the shell. My last key from another vendor lasted only a year, the metal was barely anchored, and cost twice as much. A dealer charges at least 5 times as much… twice as much just to cut it!

All reviews are 1 000 000 percent true. Set up an appt today and was in and out in 15 mins. He even had someone follow him to his house just the ask about keys. Very professional, helpful and all for a great price. 2 to 3 times less then dealer. Will be back again if I need another spare. Definitely telling all my friends about him. He even jump my car because it died out .

Don’t even bother going anywhere else. I am not kidding.
I recently purchased a used Mazda 3 that only had one set of keys/​remotes. I called a reputable place in my area but they told me they couldn’t do it and I would need to go to a dealer. I went to Marin Mazda and they had the nerve to tell me it was going to be $ 275!!! Unbelievable. After that I thought I would give Low Price Keys a try. I was given a card from the place I bought the car. Thank God.
Santiago was prompt from the start. He got back to me right away when I called. I got a hold of him the next morning for an appt. and he had me in in an hour. I brought my breakfast which I didn’t even have time to finish before he was done. He realized that the drivers side door wasn’t locking and the actuator needs to be replaced. I had no idea because I heard doors locking and I figured they all locked. He took the time to show me what it is and how to fix it. Thanks Santiago!!!
All in all I love this guy!!! He saved me over $ 200 and that is a big deal for me. I loved the casual garage atmosphere and the company wasn’t bad either. I really like this guy. It seems like he is doing this from the bottom of his heart and even though he could charge more he doesn’t. I took some of his cards in hopes of giving some to my mechanic to get the word out about this guy. And I would like to be able to help him out because of how much he helped me.
Don’t even bother going anywhere else. I am not kidding. :o)

Easy five star rating. No fuss. Showed up to the home garage with a salvaged Prius that I’d bought yesterday. Previous owner only had one key, and it only started the car when plugged into the slot. Not good.
Worse, the previous owner had installed a cheap aftermarket alarm/​lock system, so I wasn’t too hopeful that everything would be intact.
20 minutes later, I walked out with a new (to me) key fully programmed including SKS for less than half what the dealership was asking. Even better, he unhooked the cheap alarm system and reprogrammed the previous owner’s key.
I’ve now got two fully functioning Prius proximity keys for FAR less than I expected to be out.

I went to see Santiago this morning to get another remote key made for my Wife’s Lexus RX400h Hybrid because the previous Owner we bought the car from only gave us 1 key, and the Lexus Stealership wanted more than $ 300 for this remote key, and you have to leave the car there for a few hours. (Maybe the Lexus logo on the back of the key is made out of real 24 carat gold. Lol!)
I arrived a bit late but Santiago was extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient, and while chatting with him for about 10 to 15 minutes, he had already cut and made the remote key, plugged the computer into our Lexus and programmed it and made the key for me. The best part was he also took the time to program the door locking/​unlocking feature so that my Wife no longer have to press the remote twice to unlock all 4 doors. My Wife absolutely loved it!
Needless to say, if you are looking for a way cheaper and most reasonable alternative of getting a remote key made for your car, rather than paying 2 to 3 times more at a Dealership or elsewhere, I highly recommend you go and see Santiago! I know you will not be disappointed because you’ll even get faster and better service there! Cheers!~
