This place is just okay. Went in tonight and our server was beyond rude… Rolling her eyes, snatched a plate out of my hand, because she rang our food in incorrectly. The food isn’t bad, it just isn’t great.

Delicious food with slow service. The food was amazing! We had fried oysters appetizer and for meals we had mushroom ravioli and seafood alfredo. The oysters were the perfect amount of crunch and juicy inside without being greasy. The sauce served with it was zesty and delicious. I was amazed by the seafood Alfredo. The shrimp and scallops were huge and plentiful as well as it had real lump crab. The ambiance was nice, very open and clean. The negative was the service. While our server was very nice, it took her 15 minutes to greet us. We almost walked out. We never received bread or appetizer plates which most tables had. The server also forgot our salads and when bread was brought to us after receiving our meals it was hard as a rock. We went just before 5 and it wasn’t that busy. Despite the lacking service, it still had good food and friendly employees. I would return.

We stopped in for an early dinner before the pre Valentine’s crowd. Kayla was an amazing server who took great care of us and made fabulous recommendations when asked. Every course, to include the house chianti, was authentic and freshly made Italian cuisine. This restaurant will start to be one of our regulars.

They’re ok… they’re close to the house so they were becoming a go to but their quality is just too hit or miss in comparison to their inflated prices. If they were cheaper I wouldn’t mind it but they cost too much to be that way.

Just okay! Food was alright Bacon cheesesteak bread was good steak slightly overcooked. In a strip center so plenty of parking, the did have el guapo on tap so + ½ star for me. The place was dirty napkins and food scraps under tables, bathroom needed a good scrubbing down. Server was nice and friendly might come back but won’t be a regular thing.

Delish! I had the veal piccata, my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, and my daughter had the fettuccine Alfredo. All of it was super yummy. Lots of food and a decent price. We also had the cream puffs for dessert. I highly recommend them. This is our new favorite Resturant!

Hello fellow Unilocalers, I went to Giana’s tonight and had a great meal. I love Giana’s to death. I go there all the time and the food is always great as well as the service. But tonight the service was terrible. The food was excellent but the waiter sucked. I usually don’t blast people on social media but this night called for it. If you can help it please recommend not to get Jaclyn B. She was a terrible server with a terrible attitude. I didn’t feel welcomed at all or comfortable while eating my meal. Like I said I definitely recommend Giana’s to anyone cause it’s always great food and great people but I just was try save anyone else from the terrible service I had to go through tonight.

One of my favorite places to eat! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and great food! The bartender will be more than happy to pair a bottle of wine with your meal. Everyone is always doing something and not just standing around. Booths are roomy, tables and walk space are sometimes a tight squeeze based on a highchair. I tend to get the same shrimp and crab linguine. I have noticed a difference in pasta portions. Most dishes come with warm bread and butter. My husband has tried a variety of dishes and has been happy with everything. Calzones are huge and a meal by themselves. Tried dessert once or twice and am not a fan and always opt out. This is one place I would take anyone visiting me out to eat at.

A nice spot for long lunch or grab a huge pizza for dinner. A good selection of pasta, sandwiches and of course pizza. I always feel a little guilty when dining in because I always overindulge but it’s worth it.

We were referred here and assumed we would have our pasta and pizza fix that we had been craving. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Here’s why: First of all our waitress acted highly impatient with our group of four as we were indecisive about our order. As first timers patrons we weren’t sure what we wanted quite yet. So as we were slowly ordering, the waitress loudly interrupts me and turns to the table that had just been seated next to us, «I’ll be with you in just a minute,» and then proceeds to take our order with an impatient attitude. After she left we all just looked at each other and conversed about how awkward that was. Her behavior was was rude and unprofessional. If she had any tact, she would have helped us with suggestions or said how about I give you a few more minutes. My daughter who is also a server was embarrassed for her because it was obvious that she showed her impatience by this. I wish I had her name. Middle age-ish, blond, heavier set, worked last night. Additionally, the split fee… really? This is a pizzeria! Who does this anymore? We haven’t been to a restaurant in years that required a split fee, and we dine out frequently. We ordered a large classic pizza as well as two orders of pasta for four people. It would be like saying you have to add a split fee for a pizza to share, right? It’s a poor business tactic used to gouge their customers. Had we been smart to think this through, two of us would have each ordered a pasta dish and let the other two sneak it to their plate. How sad that we would even consider this. With that said… now they want to charge us for more bread? Again, I haven’t been to a restaurant that has charged for more bread. Another gouge! Nickel and dime. Owners: don’t you want repeat business? None of the above stated practices(including the split fees) are typical in the restaurant businesses where I’m from or where I’ve been, and I’ve traveled extensively. I have now been here for several weeks and unfortunately had to eat out two times a day(home not available yet) and have yet to encounter a split fee or a charge for more bread anywhere else until I dined here. Now the food. My husband and I ordered the penne pasta dish w broccoli and olive oil. Can’t remember the name. The pasta was not done. It wasn’t even at the point of al dente. Also wasn’t seasoned well enough. Quite bland. My husband took the leftovers to our hotel, added salt and re-heated it today(so it cooked more) and he said the pasta tasted much better! Our adult kids ordered spaghetti and meatballs and they said it was meh and a bit runny. The pizza dough wasn’t fully cooked and was soggy and limp. Because my daughter is a server/waitress and couldn’t imagine being stiffed on a tip, we did leave a 12% tip out of obligation. It’s not the server’s fault regarding the food but her customer service skills left a little to be desired, and yep I took it personal. If it were me alone I wouldn’t have left a tip and I never do that. To the owners/investors and our waitress: Richard Branson said it best– «The key is to set realistic customer expectations, and then not to just meet them, but to exceed them — preferably in unexpected and helpful ways.» Because of all of the above, the gouging and over priced menu, we won’t be back. The search continues for the go-to, tried and true, Italiano food. Mangia! Mangia!

I don’t live nearby but do have meetings out this way from time to time. I stumbled on this place about a year ago. I went in expecting the standard«2 slice» lunch special that every so called Italian restaurant has these days(and they have that too). But the chalk board said«lobster ravioli with lump crab cream sauce» $ 11.99. SOLD!!! Each time that I have been here since(5 – 6) they have continued to exceed my expectations. Today I’m having rockfish over roasted garlic linguine for lunch. Amazing! The only reason they’re not getting the 5th star from me is because I haven’t been here for dinner yet and never sampled any of their drinks. Nice, open seating. Big covered patio for outdoor dining when it is warm. This is a must try if in the area!

I’ve eaten here several times when visiting my family. Nice location near the movie theater so we’ll eat here after catching an afternoon flick. Good food and a nice menu selection. I enjoyed the Eggplant Parmigiana during my most recent visit.(Delicious.) Prices are very reasonable and the staff is excellent.

I’d never been poisoned til Gianna’s. The calamari literally made me sick, and it’s crazy because I felt like I knew so after the first bite. But I kept trucking. This is not to say Gianna’s is horrible, surprisingly so. It was packed on a Friday night; someone’s gotta love it. Most people had pizzas on their tables, so perhaps that’s where I went wrong. I love calamari though. I just had to try it. It seemed undercooked and too greasy. I literally dried each ring in a napkin. Not pretty. Of course I didn’t eat it all. See, I’m smart? Just enough to be sick. They were out of tiramisu, or hadn’t thawed it out yet. And so I got some to-go.(How much more ridiculous will this story get?) The tiramisu was basic. Same one Olive Garden orders from wherever; I know — I worked there a decade ago. Throughout dinner, our server insulted my intelligence enough to start keeping her distance. And I will never go back to Gianna’s. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.

Tried Gianna’s again last night and had to raise my rating up a star! The drinks(margaritas, White Russians, and martinis) were all perfectly strong and good! We started out with garlic knots(OHMYGODGOOD!!) you have to get them! I tried the chicken Picatta which was delicious. Eggplant Rollatini also a hit. One friend got a sub sandwich and was not impressed whatsoever. I tried a bite and also was not a fan. The fried appetizer sampler also not great, but at least they’re doing the entrees well. Tiramisu for dessert was great!
