I used to go here all the time because of a recommendation. Unfortunately as time has gone on I’ve seen and experienced first hand ripped off prices and price inflation. The owner will schmooze and charm you and lead you to believe you need x, y, and z done and that he will give you a great price. He will try to get you to do it quickly because he cares about your safety… Don’t buy it. Go elsewhere.

Brought my Corvette into Tallman Tire & Auto for a wheel alignment after reading positive reviews on help & Angie’s list. There was a lot of shaking when driving and no other mechanic seemed to find the issues. Working with Joey and his dad Joe was a pleasure. They were very knowledgable, have all the required diagnostic equipment, and have very good customer service. They called to tell me the rear brakes were waring but still had a little time left before they had to be replaced. They never pushed, and you felt comfortable that they were looking out for you to make sure the car was safe, not pushing to sell services. I authorized them to replace the brakes and they did a really great job. After taking the car, I still felt some shaking and brought it back the next day. They looked at it immediately and rebalanced the tires (which had recently been done by a different mechanic) without further cost to me. This did the trick, and the car now drives like new. As I told them, they now have a new loyal customer

Got a flat traveling up 287 to go camping. Tallman’s was the closest place off the highway we could find. Got there a half hour after they were supposed to close, but they didn’t hesitate to help us out. Straightforward owner, knew how to bullshit about Sports (bonus!!!) and had us taken care of and out of there in good time. Definitely recommend!!!

My son went there for an inspection and they failed Him and said he needed all new brakes. We went to the dealer and he passed with no issue.

Make sure you speak to Big Joe. He will take care of you. I use Sunoco for all of my vehicle service requirements. They provide quick service at a reasonable rate. From a tune up, oil change, to fixing windows that no longer work, and inspections. I trust no one with my vehicle other than Joe!
