The food was excellent and so was the service. I took a group of my students there for lunch and we were very happy with the experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back! Thank you to Leo, our server who was very patient with 16 hungry teenagers! Sra. Monell

Good food, very lively atmosphere. I recommend for larger groups — there was lots of space.

There is nothing not to love about Olé Olé/Tapas(they are connected). Drinks are always spot on and the food is awesome. The fajitas are the best I’ve had, and the homemade salsa and chips are addicting. The Tapas food is incredible, from the lobster mac & cheese to the coconut shrimp. They often have live music and the staff is always attentive. You must give it a try!!!

The sangrita(no typo half margarita half sangria) is the BEST!!! I’ve loved this place for years and I will continue loving it as long as it’s still around. Yes sometimes it’s overcrowded but that’s not really a bad thing. It’s a small business and the owner is always accommodating to his customers. Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks!

Went on a Saturday night with no reservations and sat at the Tapas Bar section. The place was VERY loud full of drinking patrons but nothing you can do about that. We ordered a bunch of tapas and they were fantastic!!! We liked the coconut shrimp, prociutto and mozzarella w/balsamic dressing, the empanadas were delicious! We also had the grilled cheese sandwich that had avocado in it, not a fan but others liked it. Shrimp tacos delicious! Everything delicious! We didn’t stay for the music but I heard it’s really good in there at night. Would definitely recommend.

So glad there doing very well, haven’t been there in a few years because of service problems, decided to try again but was told«sorry we have to many reservations to seat you tonight»(a table of 2) oh well, maybe a couple more years… oh and by the way … The bar was empty and we weren’t even offered a seat … It’s ok, we went up the street and spent $ 150.00 somewhere else, after we finished we had to drive past olé olé and guess what? Yep, dining room was empty… Shame on you!!!

I’m happy to have stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant over the last week. I had never really gone to Suffern for dinner, but after seeing the area I would be happy to go back. I’ve been searching for decent Mexican food for a while and I’m happy I went here. The waitstaff was very friendly, quickly moving from table to table, whether it was for drink refills of chips, they were all very good. The waitress recommended the pretzel beer that they had on tap, I hadn’t ever tried a beer like this but I decided to give it a shot, and to my surprise it was actually pretty good. I ordered the fajitas and they were very good, around 20 dollars for the steak and chicken and the portions were generous. Definitely give this place a shot, the menu is GINORMOUS, seriously it took 15 minutes to decide on my meal because there was so much to choose from. I would definitely go back

This is a very good Mexican restaurant in Suffern. A little noisy, so a quiet night you will not have. The food and drinks were great. The service was fine, and they were attentive. I had the pork and truly enjoyed it,

Stopped in for a quick appetizer and a drink knowing it is a bar type crowd on a Friday night and was not disappointed. Ended up having dinner and a couple of drinks Recommend the chicken mole sauce and could tell the chefs have a very good recipe. Bartenders and servers always active and pleasant to deal with. Will definitely make this a regular stop when passing through Suffern. I understand the place has a large party room in the back but never stopped back to see it

Saturday night was our first time to Olé’ Olé and it was a great experience. Being fans of Mexican fare, we have been to many Mexican restaurants in the area over the past 20 years; from Stony Point to Piermont, Nanuet, Highland Falls and Blauvelt. So, decided it was time to try one that is so close to us. The hostess was gracious with her offer to open the back room when we arrived because the main room had many little children running around — which really should not be allowed, but that is up to parents to control. The service was prompt, friendly and polite. My husband had a steak dish and I had the shrimp Diablo. Both were delicious and well presented. The San Gria was excellent as were our desserts. We joined the rewards club because we know that we will be back often. If we had been seated in the main room, though, dinner might not have been as enjoyable. Many restaurants that we have frequented do ask that parents try to keep their children seated and under control out of consideration for other patrons, restaurant workers and as a safety precaution. Something to consider

Wasn’t the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Took a really long time to get the checks out. Wasn’t anything special. I’d try it again though

I really like this restaurant! My spinach and black bean enchiladas were delightful. I also got pretty drunk off of two margaritas so be aware of the strong drinks. The prices are decent and I have no complains about the service. You also get free shots at the end of dinner! Baileys and Khalua mix!

Been there a lot and always liked the food-I never had a problem with the service. It“s good Mexican food but they have a big menu and the prices are reasonable. Yea the place has a few miles on it but that’s ok with me. Plan on going back

This is a staple in the Suffern downtown. The food is great and the service is wonderful and friendly. The addition of the Tapas bar next door make it a go to spot any night of the week. Great bands every Saturday night! Eric the owner is very generous to local foundations and clubs. Give it try — you will not be disappointed!

I went here for my mom’s birthday. The ambiance was nice but the food was mediocre. For appetizers we ordered the sampler and guacamole. The guacamole was solid, but the sampler I could have done with out. It included hot wings, empanadas, mozzarella sticks, and chicken tenders. Why did we get this? I’m not sure… I think because we saw sampler and thought it would have all the great things you’d like to taste, but instead it was a bunch of stuff from the freezer aisle. For the main course I ordered the Shrimp de Ajo with rice and refried beans. The main course took a long time to come out. It didn’t bother me that night because my family and I were sharing stories with our alcoholic drinks, but if it were any other night it would have bothered me. When my main dish came it was nothing impressive. The rice was ok, the beans were ok, the shrimp was ok… I wish I got more than ok… If anything, come here for the night life. There was good music playing in the other room. Then you can get some food when you have the munchies!

I came here for a much needed girl’s night to help cheer up a friend but we left with her even more down in the dumps because of the experience. She’s a picky eater and ordered PLAIN cheese quesadillas — no salsa, sour cream, guac, refried beans — just a tortilla and cheese. The waiter instead brought her cheese enchiladas: WITH all the accompaniments that she specifically asked not to have. We sent the order back and 7 minutes later a different waiter returned with a plate that was half covered with the accompaniments(again, she asked to leave that off the plate), and the other half was just 2 quesadillas. TWO? That is an entrée? She was starving and didn’t want to send it back again, and told us she could always pick up a slice of pizza on the way home. When the bill came, we saw that we were charged for cheese enchiladas, which… once again… we did not order. The waitress said she could swap it out for the quesadillas but that it wouldn’t make a difference because the price was the same. A whopping $ 15.95 for TWOQUESADILLAS. Plus, I honestly feel like they should’ve taken her meal off the bill completely because it was wrong. TWICE! On the bright side, their tortilla chips are delicious and as someone who is on a low-carb lifestyle, I appreciate their gluten-free options. I opted for shrimp fajitas(sans tortillas). which was tasty, but the shrimp were tiny, like popcorn shrimp. I prefer the bigger ones, but they still tasted good.

Shady — watch your receipts vs. your credit card bill here, folks. Was in for drinks back in April — I left with my copy of the receipt for $ 72.61 — when the charge came through on my credit card it was for 117.61 — the bartender just went ahead and added $ 45! That was on top of the tip we gave him, and I’ve been in the business — I tip well. I disputed the charge — one would think that management would just waive the charge in light of their shady staff just to avoid getting panned on a site like this, but no — not that smart. Avoid, avoid, avoid unless you’re OK getting taken for a ride…
