Disclaimer– I am completely disappointed in the place. I’m disappointed that they made the Pork Ribs that the appetite that I’m normally impressed by was destroyed, and made to feel inferior to how good and plentiful they are. I’m also disappointed in the fact that the Pork Sampler, coupled with sweet corn soufflé and Texas Potato Salad was so good that it turned me into a blithering idiot incapable of a coherent sentence. I’m so utterly disappointed in this place that I can’t wait to get back again and prove I can actually finish a meal finished with the bread pudding. What a meal! All of that and the service was amazing!

The barbecue here is dry-rubbed & slow cooked authentically and deliciously. The wings are also the best in the area. Decent beer list & bar, but the BBQ is the real attraction — even though their menu is more extensive including pub fare, and notably cheese steaks.

I’ve heard about Finks in Dumont NJ and that it was pretty good. Well, if the ribs in the Dumont location are the same as this location(Suffern) then I won’t be visiting Dumont for the ribs. I got a take out order of the ribs with a side of corn soufflé and BBQ baked beans. The ribs tasted bland with zero smoke flavor. Thankfully, I had my own homemade BBQ sauce at home to make it better. BTW — they didn’t even give me a side of BBQ sauce with my order :(The corn soufflé wasn’t bad. By he ironic part is the beans actually had smoke flavor and were not bad. This was my first time trying Finks and maybe they were having a bad night and maybe I’ll try again and eat in this time.

Tried Finks recently for an appetizer and beer. Was very pleased, very good. Chicken sliders, awesome homemade potato chips. Looking forward to returning and trying more of their food.

I can’t say enough about this place. Went here 4 times in 2 weeks. From Georgia working in Warwick on a volunteer project. The south is known for BBQ, but hands down some of the best bbq and food I have ever eaten at Finks. I recommended highly. We brought about 8 different folks with each time we went and the food was insane. The bread pudding is the best I ever had. Enjoy!!!

I have been there twice. The food and service here excellent. We came once with a large group and were able to sample most dishes. All were good. The ribs are incredible. The beef rib end cut is highly recommend as well as there corn soufflé. The next time we went kids tried cheesesteaks. I was leary when they ordered them as being a Philly native I know my cheesesteaks. They were actually very good. One son ordered it with cheddar, sacrilege in Philly but not bad. I tried to correct him, LOL. The other listened and enjoyed the american cheese. Also very good, but don’t toast the rolls they are too hard and would not be tolerated in Philly. Why not five stars… Three reasons — The prices are rather steep as most dishes don’t offer sides. We were charge 3.95 for each small side. Adds up very quickly. Beers also steeper than most in the area. –The place is very busy and they need to put in more tables. It is laid out very poorly and the hostesses were not very organized. –The parking lot is a nightmare. Very small and tight. You will be driving around for a while until you find a spot. Just be careful there are many aggressive drivers and pedestrians walking in the lot don’t have the right of way. You will get run down by a hungry motorist chasing a spot. I now drop kids off at door for their safety.

This place is the real deal. I stop to eat on a Wednesday and find wings at 50 cents but this are premium wigs smoked. I tried the Cajun cheesesteak sandwich and you can feel the taste of real meat. Samantha was my waitress she was very nice and go thru with me in the menu when I ask for recommendation. I will stop in this place every time I’m close and hungry.

Service was great. Waitresses nice and attentive but food was not tasty at all. We will not be coming back. Fries were over seasoned. Read on the menu the food sounds great however it doesn’t taste as described.

Shame… Shame… Shame… Management should be flogged in the street. I ordered the beef rib for over $ 20 and got the most expensive piece of beef jerky I’ve ever had. The meat was dry and tasteless and shriveled up on the bone. I normally wouldn’t even write a review, but I ended up spending over $ 70 for the meal and felt compelled.

Someone really needs to be arrested for making that center cut beef short rib so good. Just sayin’

Fantastic barbecue and the best thing is their homemade barbecue potato chips! Family dining area and separate bar section. Only thing I didn’t care for was the plethora of tvs. Can’t wait to go back though.

The food was mediocre, at best, and to enhance every dish they should add their signature cole slaw which was outstanding. I Got the buttermilk fried chicken sliders. They were served on mushy potato buns and the stringy chicken tenders had no seasoning on it. They were very disappointing as it is a BBQ joint. The mashed potatoes on the sandwich had no flavor. Tyson’s dinosaur chicken nuggets are far superior from what we were served. The hostess only knew two items on the menu when we asked what her favorite dish was and both she and our waitress both recommended the buttermilk fried chicken sliders… Very disappointing that this was the dish they recommended. The cole slaw was was the best thing on the table but cost over $ 3 for a side order. The water tasted like ass! It is shame that DQ does not have a Pepto Blizzard to prevent the sliders from becoming real sliders. I only wish I could purge so I can cleanse my palate and have real dinner.

Some of the best bbq on the east coast! The chefs and cooks are the best you can find. All of the wait staff is quick and very attentive. The bartenders are great too with good knowledge of drinks. Food is amazing the clams in cream broth and pork belly I would walk across broken glass barefoot and the pork belly dinner is second to none and the sides of glazed roots are only 2nd to the garlicky greens. It’s a must try!

My new favorite BBQ place. Despite some negative reviews about the service we were taken care of beautifully from the moment we walked through the door. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and always around when needed. Now about the food… superb! We had the pork BBQ plate that had a pulled pork slider(tangy, tender and not stringy), pork belly that was nice and crisp with a kick and a pile of ribs done perfectly brushed with an excellent sauce. We ordered a side of potato salad which was killer and a great root veggie that had carrots and turnips done in a delicious way. Even the Bloody Mary was exceptional! Great roadhouse atmosphere with Blues music playing in the background.

The only thing holding this back was how slow the service was. Besides that the food is incredible. As a group of three we got two orders of the roadhouse platter. The bbq food is incredible. Out sides were just as great. Highly recommend the corn soufflé and the kale, tastes just like collared greens. We also tried the apple pie bread pudding. If we didn’t come so hungry the wait might have been okay. All in all great food.

The ribs were excellent, the fries good and the beer cold. My only complaint is that the beer cost more than expected. They had a price list(which I really liked) but the beer was almost twice the cost I expected. I think the waitress gave me a larger serving than I specifically requested. Also my husband said the baked beans were not cooked enough but I thought they were fine. In any case the place has only been open a few days so there are bound to be glitches. Will defiantly be back.

This place was amazing! My husband and I were stuck in the area since I had to drive my parents to a show and wait around for 3 hours. I was looking around on Unilocal for something and drove past this place and decided to check it out instead. We were so proud of our decision! Awesome down to earth atmosphere and the waiters were so nice. We started by sharing a cup of gumbo and for dinner had the special of the day«yesterday brisket sandwich» which came with chips and I switched my side out for fries. The brisket was great! The brisket was soft with nice burnt sides and very tasty. And finally someone understands when I say I want water with extra lemon, they bring more than one lemon. If this place was closer I would go more often but I will still make the trip once in a while.

First time coming here and will be back! We started with BBQ chips with blue cheese, bacon and scallions. Incredible! I also shared the brisket plate(which was so delicious the brisket had just finished cooking it was so soft and tasty) which came with this delicious sweet BBQ sauce. We also go coleslaw, corn soufflé(YOUGOTTOGETTHISAMAZING) and the garlic kale greens. Of course finished with pecan pie. I was pleased with all the food. Our waiter was super nice and attentive. It does get very crowded, we went around 515 and we beat the crowd.
