What a nightmare of an experience. Very unfriendly manager. They included a high gratuity themselves in the bill and refused to replace the entrée that we ordered by default and wasn’t even touched, without charging for the new entrée. Food was ok. But the customer service was awful.

My whole family loves this place. We have never had a disappointing experience at Rossini’s. The counter staff is quick to offer you help to your car, or even deliver out to the car if they see you have a baby with you. The delivery staff have been friendly and fast. And unlike with most places offering delivery, I have never bothered to check the bag, as the order has always been correct.

I have written many reviews about this place going back to 2010, most were not good because the service was not good, in fact it was excrutiatingly slow. Today finally I have to say things seem to have changed .The food was always good and reasonably priced, but the service, oh the service .We just sat down and the waitress came right up. We ordered and in 15 minutes we had our meal .I wont go into the dishes because I have not had a disappointing dish yet, all are good .I have seen pizzas coming out that I wished I had ordered. Their salads are huge, and people coming in make a banquet out of it .The owner is from Brazil, so are some of the waiters and today the customers that came in spoke a foreign language .I have to say this place was my secret place where we could go out on a Sun and enjoy .I hope Rossini keeps up the good service, because the food is so good.

We are new to the area, and were told that Rossini’s was a great place to eat. We ordered take-out the first time, and were were charged $ 40 for 2 lunches and 2 drinks. By the menu prices online, we were overcharged by more than $ 12 dollars. The management refused to acknowledge the mistake, and would not refund the overcharge. The second time we ordered food to go, and picked it up. We ordered 4 salads, and got 2 Caesar salads, 1 salad from«another planet»(which was supposed to be a Caprese), but was nothing more than a big salad with extra tomatoes and small chunks of mozzarella, and an order of buffalo chicken wings. When discovering the mistake, I contacted the restaurant. The female that answered the phone immediately told me I was«wrong», and that she packed the order herself! I advised her that I was standing in front of the food, and two empty bags, and there was no antipasto salad, and no caprese. She continued to argue, and then reluctantly said she would send the correct salads to our establishment. Again, the order was wrong, and again the phone call, and again the arguing that the correct order was delivered. The food we did receive, was okay, but definitely not worth going back to this restaurant ever again… They need to train the help not to argue with the customer, and to pay a little more attention to detail when filling an order.

Someone else already mentioned this but it’s worth mentioning again. They automatically include 18% gratuity, but do not make that clear. Automatically including a gratuity for a family of four is not standard practice. I usually tip 20% or more so they actually lost on this deal. Also what am I supposed to do if I get bad service there is no way to reduce the tip. This just hits me as a little shady.

We have been ordering from Rossini’s nearly every week for a few years. I used love their pizza and pasta. Recently, it seems like they’ve hired a new chef who does things slightly differently(not in a good way). We seem to get the good chef every other time we order. The other chef seems to be more generous with the portions, but the pasta isn’t nearly as good. Another thing that bothers me lately is one of their delivery drivers. He always places the food on my planter… my dirty, plant-filled, bug-infested planter. Come on man, just wait 10 seconds for me to sign the slip and then place the food in my clean hands.

Love their pizza! Their buffalo chicken pizza is one of a kind! Highly recommend for take out. Haven’t gotten a chance to try the sit down myself but judging by their quality food there’s no doubt this place is worth checking out.

They provide good«value» but it really isn’t memorable food. We go a few times a year b/c it is convenient and kid-freindly…but I would never go there alone.

I ordered a Greek salad with grilled shrimp. It came with green peppers, cucumbers, black olives and feta. Poured some Greek dressing on it and it was yummy! Good portion, just wish there was more shrimp on it!

Rossini’s is a little gem of a restaurant in the center of Sudbury. If you are looking for just pizza, it’s probably fine, but the real strength of Rossini’s kitchen lies in its entrees. Everything I have eaten there has been excellent, from the soup to the salmon. The lasagna and chicken marsala are terriffic – not too heavy but full of flavor. Service is fast and friendly and the kitchen appears to be spotless. Prices are very reasonable. We have only eaten in, both lunch and dinner, but they seem to have a very healthy take-out business as well. The restaurant is small, though, so probably not good for a large group.

The pizza and food in general is not bad. The reason for the two stars has more to do with what I believe is deceptive billing. Their bill includes gratuity, but not once have the waiters mentioned that. As a result, the last time we were there we realized that every time before that we had been double-tipping. For a party of three or four including gratuity is not standard practice. I have nothing against doing that, but the waiter should have made it clear.

We go occasionally to Rossini’s in Sudbury. They have a better interior than the Concord location even if it’s smallish inside. The wait staff has always been very friendly and attentive, food has always been good and sometimes better than good. The prices are decent and they have great pizza(although I like the artichoke dish most).

I wish their salads w grilled chicken and their fries weren’t so good, because I can’t help but ordering them every time I’m here! Their service is a bit slow and the inside of the restaurant is a bit small. I would avoid going with more than 3 other people. Delicious fries and salad!

three stars, average a-ok to a T so we had a coupon for 5 off 25 or something like that and therefore decided to take a whirl. i know, very Unilocal sheik, coupons. so i picked up 3 calzones for the crew, plus a diet coke. why bring this up? because 3 calzones run 24 bucks and in order to work the coupon you need to spend the 25. silly us. so i picked it up, and glad i did. while there isnt anything inherently wrong with the location or décor, i just got the feel that the only people eating in here were the relatives of the owners. anyway you put it, i just getting that dine in quality. no worries, pick up works well. the buffalo chicken calzone i ordered was not bad, basically chicken fingers inside a cheese calzone. although i did find the cheese coagulated a bit weird inside, overall it was franks buffalo inside a calzone. my mother in law did not enjoy hers as when we ordered we were very specific as to what kind of toppings she wanted and we made the mistake of ordering it as the veggie one but like this when we really just should have asked for the three ingredients she wanted from the get go. a ok overall as i said, nothing drawing me back for now.

Okay, seriously? I really hate Italian food. At least, that’s what I tell everyone, because by and large I find it to be crappy and bland. Even authentic Italian food(which I’m completely unqualified to identify, so I’m taking other people’s words on this) is usually bland – not enough salt, no flavour, just ugh. But I had this craving for alfredo, which can always be fixed with gratuitous amounts of salt, and we checked out Rossini’s. Well golly gee was it swell! No idea how authentic it was, but even the mozzarella sticks were the best I ever had. They used fresh mozzarella in the calzone, the pepperoni was very high quality, the stuffed shells were well-seasoned, and the sauce distinct and flavourful. Sadly, no alfredo, but I was more than happy with what we got, which was fresh and really delightful. They have an excellent selection of wine, and I’m pretty sure they make their own(delicious) tiramisu. Unfortunately the ambiance isn’t as good as the food deserves. The place has plenty of seating, but the lighting is a bit bright and it’s set up better for takeout than eat in. Still, it’s well-decorated and you get the feeling they’re just doing the best with what they could find for a place. This is the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Oh, and for an appetizer, two main dishes, and a shared dessert we spent only $ 30. I can’t even imagine *making* that quality of food at home for that price, so it’s a fantastic deal. I can’t wait to try their pizza!

Whenever we are in the mood for good(and plenty) Italian food we always head to Rossini’s. I don’t recall how I found out about the place, but every time we walk in we are warmly welcomed by the staff. We’ve tried most things on the menu that are vegetarian, and there are quite a lot of options. I really enjoy the Calzone(the dough is perfect) and the Stuffed Shells when I don’t want to be overly full. The small Cheese Pizza is great for the kids(since that’s all kids seem to eat these days). The only thing I would change is to make the beer selection a bit more robust. But that’s a personal preference.

So… I never had a calzone before, in my thirty or so years of living in Taxachusetts. No, I haven’t lived anywhere else since the first day of breathing. As I was flipping thru the menu and waiting for«to die for» fries, it crossed my mind to give it a shot at this joint. I ordered a calzone with meatballs, caramelized onions and mozzarella cheese. The only reason I decided to have my first calzone at this joint is because I love their pizza dough. Obviously, I have no where else to compare this to. It’s fully loaded with cheese. Good amount of tasty onions and sliced meatballs. After eating a Kiddie size fries, I was only able to help myself to one-third of the calzone. Calzones are definitely very filling. Or was it the fries? A calzone, kiddie fries and iced tea for $ 11 and some change. Not bad for lunch.

Rossini’s is probably one of my favorite lunch places. Great salads, great sandwiches, great pizza and calzones. The pasta dishes are a bit pricy for lunch, but are quite delicious. My recommendations: Healthy: the Greek salad with grilled chicken and no dressing. Delicious: pizza putanesca Value: medium sandwiches are affordable and gigantic Hunger Satisfaction: calzone The service here is fantastic and very friendly. Unfortunately, the espresso machine is not connected, but they do have a beer and wine license which helps to make it more than a lunch spot.
