Spectrum Construction is a small volume Design-​Build Firm, New Home Builder, General Contractor & Remodeler which has been in business for over 26 years.

We construct new custom homes, whole house renovations, remodeling projects, additions/​add-​a-​levels & light commercial jobs; specializing in lakefront home projects & multi-​generational housing/​aging-​in-​place modifications. Our custom plans are characterized by distinctive design elements, attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

As a full-​service construction company, we offer total one-​stop-​shopping, working closely with homeowners, or their architects, to design floor plans and define project details. We can acquire permits, can help with financing and perform 100% of the construction work.

Located in Roxbury Township, we serve northwestern New Jersey including Morris County and parts of Warren County and Sussex County.

History

Established in 1989.

This family owned business is run and operated by father and son, Dan and Don Dyrness. Having learned the trade from his Norwegian father, Dan has worked in the construction industry for several decades. Don is now the third generation of the Dyrness family to be involved in the field. Their combined experience adds up to over 70 years of home building in northwestern New Jersey.

Dan specializes in design and job management, while Don heads up the business side of the company. Over the years, they have developed strong relationships (some of which have lasted for two and three generations) with a select group of trade contractors, professionals and suppliers.
