First of all, I really like Rebecca… great salesperson. After that, horrible customer service and lack of standing by their motto — «Trust Goes a Long Way». Boxes were missing when I started unpacking. I was told they were all delivered, which our delivery was guaranteed in a set window — missed that window. Approximately, 2 weeks after delivery, they found two of my missing boxes in Indiana. I moved from WI to California. They shipped the two boxes UPS to their local Bekins warehouse. I was told they had not been gone through… one was a new box, taped with one strip of masking tape. Things are still missing 6 months after the move. Since I believed Rebecca’s recommendation of .60/lb is the best route to go because we could trust their local moving company, we went with that. With a dresser completely ruined, a buffet/wine rack broken and items missing, they sent me a check of less than $ 250 to cover the damages. Corporate doesn’t return calls or emails until after you send a second request. When asking when my «stuff» was going to be delivered, I was told by Karen that she was too busy to help me and would maybe call me the next day. When I hadn’t heard from her at noon my time, I called back and was told she had to call the driver. Another issue, I have kept the damaged boxes, the damaged dresser, waiting for the claims adjuster to come check it out, which I was told they would do. No one ever came and was just sent a generic letter with their explanation of their settlement. The statement added at the end«hope we can serve you better in the future». Very poor customer service from local branch all the way to the claims adjuster. They won’t get another chance to move me. Trust goes a long way — not with them.
