Meet the Business Owner

Andrew F.

Business Owner

Andrew Feliciano is the current owner of Voice Trax West and has been an audio engineer for more than 10 years. He has a background in computer science, but with a strong interest and involvement in music he gravitated towards pro audio and found a home in voiceover.

In 2008 Andrew recorded Beau Bridges for the audiobook version of «An Inconvenient Truth», which won a Grammy that year for Best Spoken Word Album. Since taking over Andrew has completed an expansion to Voice Trax West, adding an additional recording booth and two editing suites.

Andrew hold a B. A in Computer Science from Beloit College and an MBA from Cal State Northridge. Andrew is a technology enthusiast, an avid rock climber and outdoor enthusiast.

I absolutely love VoiceTrax West! This is such a stellar recording facility where all the employees are so easy going and helpful and the recording gear is current and in great working condition. I’ve taken their group classes, private one on one coaching with both Susan and Artt, I recorded my first voice over commercial demo here and have recently booked a holiday campaign that I’ve been recording at voicetrax west… I’ve done about 70 spots now, all ISDN sessions that run smoothly. I appreciate people who know their craft well, can execute with style and grace and are not pretentious. This is why VoiceTrax West is at the top of my list!

Andrew I believe is the owner. I had a problem with my credit card and it decline both times I’ve been there. Andrew was very sweet and cool about it. I had another card thank goodness!
Thanks Voicetrax. These engineers are so friendly. I have recoded my voice over auditions twice at voicetrax and the experience is so enjoyable. Much better than recording at home alone:)

I really enjoyed my recent commercial VO class here with Susan. The first day, you get right into it and learn a lot, eventually finding what type of voice you have and what your strengths are. There is a very comfortable atmosphere and you get to practice with challenging copy, and your skills will improve as a result. Definitely sign up for their classes if you are thinking of getting into VO’s.

I have recorded here on numerous occasions not only for jobs that I have booked but for coaching sessions with Ginny McSwain. It is an incredible facility with a top notch staff. I always feel comfortable and well taken care of. Hey have great studios for that enable you not only to record in but also the recording booth has a fish glass window that allows you to really communicate with visually with direction from the engineer and the casting director or coach. It is a great place that has everything from an ISDN line to the best sound and mic equipment. What’s nice is you can book an engineer hourly as well if you need too. Great facility!

Well, I can’t say I’m a regular or first time customer, but I have spent some time recording here as well as taking care of some administrative needs.
Andrew, the owner, is a very friendly and experienced audio engineer. If you need to record your voice for any spots, this is the place to go! I’m a little biased since Andrew happens to be my roomate, but nevertheless I know he’s top notch.
There’s free parking underneath the building too so don’t pay for the street parking.
