Great mechanics and very fair prices. These guys just did a major tune-​up (including replacing worn 36 year old wires), electrical repair, new gasline filters, brakeline repair and new brakes for my 1978 Rolls Royce. They did a great job, were really knowledgeable, very fast, and had very fair prices. They used official Rolls Royce parts and official Rolls Royce brake fluid. My Rolls hasn’t run this well for 20 years. Great Job.

I highly recommend this service station. The head mechanic (and I assume the owner), John, is really very knowledgeable and was very helpful repairing my vintage 1960 Mercedes-​Benz. His work was meticulous (and I am a very particular and fastidious guy saying this), and he also worked very quickly to get my repairs done. The station is very clean, and the garage is meticulously organized (a detail that I thoroughly appreciate). On top of it all, the price for labor and parts was extremely reasonable (less than half of estimates I had received from other garages for the same job). If you need auto work done, this is your place. They certainly have the expertise and customer oriented attitude to assure satisfaction. I will definitely return here for all my automotive needs – good mechanics are extremely hard to find (especially in Los Angeles!).

I can’t speak to repairs because I haven’t needed any work but I do come here to fill up my tank almost on a weekly basis. It’s pretty standard gas station. I like that it is convenient and close by. I don’t like the prices of gas in general but this station is in line with almost all the other surrounding ones near here.

Total disappointment!!!
I went in for a smog check and was assured it would be done within 35 minutes as I was in a time crunch. I even asked the man to call me if for some reason it couldn’t be done. When I returned 35 minutes later, it wasn’t even started. The man looked dumbfounded and said, «I tried to help you, I don’t know what to say.»
I was quite irritated and would not recommend this place for any service.

Vardan was extremely helpful. I went to other places to get estimates and only in parts I was looking at $ 800.00. Here labor and parts I paid $ 640.00. Not only did they save me a lot of money but I had my car back the same day. I have refered my friends to him and they have also received the same great services I did.

Amazing customer service very fast repairs from oil change to breaks etc the people that work in the shop are amazing and know what they are doing unlike many other mechanic shops, prices are very reasonable so whenever UR car needs service don’t think twice studio city shell is the best place to go u won’t be disappointed; Highly recommended !

Okay, so I used to just take my Honda to the dealer or to a Honda specialist but a few years ago I started to take it to Studio City Shell and I have been amazing at the great job they always do.
Totally honest mechanics. I brought my car in a few weeks ago thinking that I blew a head gasket (at $ 3000 job on a Honda) but it turned out to be just that I needed a new hose. Very honest of them to tell me.
The station is nice and clean. The only downside is they don’t have the cheapest gas but I understand Studio City Ventura Blvd. rent can be high so what can you do?

I took my car, to the studio city shell gas station. randomly driving I came across with this gas station. JEFF, I believe was his name. very helpful with me, I wasn’t unattended by the employees. they, were very helpful and polite. I was amazed! never had a good customer care like this, any where else. that i have been in, totally surprised!!! I recommend this gas station. thanks. for fixing my tires Victor, John, jeff I will be back. soon

Quite possible the easiest and fastest repair on my car I have ever had. I have a 428i and it’s hard and tedious to repair it. John and victor were so clear on what was wrong with it and what was needed to fix it, they gave me the best rate to fix my car ever since I’ve had it.
Very impressed with them, very friendly, felt like a great family place.
Will definiantly go back and I highly recommend it!

I have a 1959 Cadillac Coupe de Ville in Mint Condition and I need my gas tank drained to get fresh gas. I called other repair shops, but nobody could do it. I then called John at this Shell Station that I always go to remembering that they do mechanical work. He was very busy and said call me tomorrow morning, I’m sure I can get you in. I did, and he said come in now. So at 9:00 a.m. I drove over and he had my car up and draining my fuel within 10 minutes. At the cost was a reasonable $ 60.00. He was working on a 1964 Cadillac Eldorado next to me and I met that owner and he said his entire car has been re-​built there and he raved about John and the rest of the mechanics. Friendly, Fair and a Great Experience. Check out the photo of my car there!

I try not to be harsh to businesses becos i know how hard it can be dealing with the public but this is the worst gas station on earth.
Every time I go here i feel cheated and maltreated. You walk in and not even a hello, eye contact, acknowledgement, nothing. just grunts and really lousy treatment. I have been there at least 5 times and it is the same treatment with different staff members so that mus be the way it is.
I only go there when I am in a jam on E. I dread it every time.
I will try again and If they show improvement I will update this. Like I said, I really hate giving negatives to any one.

The last time I pulled up here for gas wasn’t a good experience. The pump I had pulled up to was out of order. They could at least put a sign up so I didn’t have to go to all the trouble of getting out of my car, opening the gas tank, inserting my credit card etc., etc, etc… only to find out that I have to move to another pump… TWICE!
Good location, but a pretty small gas station that seems crowded whenever I drive by. Not to mention the prices here are hiked up! There are cheaper gas stations around the area… next time I won’t even bother coming here.

I took my car into get the brake pads checked. They told me that I had worn down my discs (that I guess hold the pads) and that I needed a costly repair.
Guess what, I took them to another place and they said I didn’t even need new brake pads.
These guys are scam artists!
