I had never played tennis before working with Steve and had no idea what I was getting into. He offered to coach me in a group setting (at a group rate) with two other women, even providing me a racquet. He is extremely patient and detailed in his coaching with just the right amount of toughness. Furthermore, he is flexible in scheduling and doesn’t discriminate from beginners to pros.
Quite frankly I never thought I’d be as good as I am now two years later. He continues to be a great coach and is also fantastic with children. I would highly recommend him to anybody, young or old, who either wants to learn a bit about the sport or improve their technique.

If you are an absolute beginner or a pro take lesson from Steve Freedman. He is the best. My 7 year old son wanted to quit tennis. One lesson with Steve and it’s his favorite thing now. I have two other kids who started taking lessons from him and last but not least I followed and 3 of my girlfriends. He definitely doesn’t sugar code things nor it’s a playground he says it how it is. I am so happy because I thought I was too stupid to learn tennis but he taught me a lesson. ;-)
