Mainline got the job done quick. These guys are reliable and know what they are talking about. After Rooter Man could not clear the line and misdiagnosed the location of the line break, they wanted to charge $ 9,500 to start digging in the wrong place. I am glad I called Mainline, they saved us.

THE GREATEST SERVICE EVER! I called in a panic this morning because my hot water heater broke and my toilet was leaking and Ranelle and her crew jumped on the problem immediately, calling around town for spare parts, sending her guys to me right away and just being the most helpful, attentive and responsive plumbing and hot water heater crew ever. I was amazed at how courteous and kind and attentive they were. I am never using anyone else. They were incredible.

Interesting comment from the owner’s wife. I actually had emailed her about my issue prior to writing the review and never received a response. This feels like one of those businesses that cares more about their public image than maintaining relationships with clients.

These guys rocked it. Called at around 8am and my line to the street was unclogged by 10am. Reasonably priced. Couldn’t be happier with their service!

Once again, Mainline saved the day as our apartment sewage lines were backing up on a Sunday evening. Seems like our plumbing issues always happen to occur after hours. Not only does Ranelle always answer my call, but her crew responds in a timely manner to our plumbing emergencies. Can not say enough good things about this company. Nice to know an honest & reliable plumber still exists.

Mainline is an amazing plumbing company that has truly helped out with the issues we’ve had at our business. They are honest and always 100% with communication. They are now the only plumbers in Los Angeles that we call.

I was moving and as the movers was removing the washer, the shut off valve was broken, so they could not detach the washer! The movers was only there for another hour and I needed an ASAP job done. Mainline was quick, came within 20 min and replaced wall outlet, and we got it all moved with us.
It was about double price of normal, but i guess If you need it done asap, it cost.
Only reason i don’t give it 5 stars is the high cost.

Mainline Plumbing is an excellent company from Rinelle scheduling the appointment to Cesar and his crew doing a perfect job! I am very particular, ask lots of questions and like to watch. Cesar answered all of my questions with much patience. I had clogged area drains which were beyond repair. Cesar and his team installed a sump pump and a new area drain line. It was a difficult job, but not for Cesar. I had received estimates and suggestions for repair from a few other companies, but Cesar had the smartest solution. Please don’t hesitate to use Mainline Plumbing & Rooter. I plan to call them yearly to clear my area drains.

My toilet is very old and the line is clogged, need a plumber with camera service. Called Mainline Plumbing the sent me their crews on the day scheduled. This is a family that actually run the business hands on day to day. They removed the old toliet, cleared the line, made recording of the condition of the sewer line, pointed the area that may need repair in the future. The crews are polite and careful of my property during the work. FYI, they are very busy, so schedule your work carefully. Their fee are reasonable.

Love Mainline — they are fantastic & respond right away. They don’t charge an arm and a leg & they’re super honest & get the job done.

My father is a double amputee and a senior citizen who lives alone with his dog. He has lived in Studio City for the past 17 years. On Sunday he had a valve under his toilet begin to leak. He called me to come and take a look at it for him. Upon arrival I realized that I wasn’t able to help him fix the problem and he would need to find a local plumber. Calling a plumber on a Sunday and being Labor Day weekend was going to be tough.
I found Mainline Plumbing and Rooter online and called. I was greeted by Ranelle, who was the wife of the owner. She quickly dispatched her husband Cesar and he arrived within minutes. Not only did he fix the original leaking valve, he found another leak and also saw the water pressure coming into my father’s home was extremely high. He didn’t want to charge holiday rates so he left and came back today to finish the job on his regular hourly rates. Honest, Clean, Reliable service from a family owned business in Studio City. I am impressed with their professionalism and also being proactive in exceeding my father’s needs.
I would recommend their services to anyone living in the San Fernando Valley. Cesar’s workmanship is second to none!

Mainline plumbing saved my parent’s brick driveway. While I was in town for a visit, they had a leak in an underground pipe that was causing water to flow up through the grouting in their brick driveway. Based on the Unilocal reviews, they called Mainline.
Shortly after speaking with Ranelle, Cesar came out to assess the situation. He didn’t want to do anything rash — like tearing up the driveway — before finding out where the leak was actually coming from. Ranelle put us in touch with Goldak, the leak detection company with whom they do business.
Goldak found the leak (under the brick stairs that lead to the driveway) and after speaking with them, Cesar determined that he could reroute the pipe instead of going through the brick. And that’s what they did. This was a huge, all day job of putting in 60 feet of copper pipe underground, tunneling underneath the brick, and into the hillside. For a reasonable rate they did an incredible job with beautiful clean-​up, and a little over 48 hours after originally calling them, the driveway was leak free and as good as new.
As a side note, the work they did also fixed the small amount of water that had been coming out of the storm drain for a long time.
This is a skilled company with excellent customer service. Thank you so much Cesar, Ranelle and the Mainline crew. We are so grateful!

Awesome experience with these guys! We called after hours on a Thursday night because our downstairs bathroom sink was backing up and gushing out sewage water.
I googled rooters in my area and found Mainline’s Unilocal page filled with happy customers. So we called and spoke with Ranelle who was very kind and to the point. She sent her husband out right away. Super cool guy, professional, knowledgeable, and he has great hair.
He fixed our problem in no time. And we even got to see the inside of our pipes with his camera.
I hope we never have to deal with problems like this again, but if we do, we’re calling Mainline for sure!

My first negative review of a company on Unilocal.Three times in one week they cancelled their appointment. Each time they promised they would be out the next day to take care of a damaged faucet part. Finally, after a week, he came out, looked at the part and said that it was indeed damaged. Ok, thanks. When asked if they had a replacement he tells me he would try to find one. When I sent him links to the parts, he tells me it’s impossible to tell if it is the right part.
Bottom line, if you like the run around with nothing getting done, this is the company for you. If you want the job done, better to look elsewhere.

No one likes calling a plumber. I don’t. But I’ve found a company I’m super happy to recommend.
Mainline plumbing is simply great. Most important… They are good to there word. Show up as promised and you pay exactly what you agree. No up charge. Very professional!
Best of all is Renal (sp). She’s the bomb. Behind a great plumber is even a greater lady that books her great crews like a 20 million dollar movie producer.
Use them once and you won’t have any plumber fear again!

I just used Mainline for my 3^rd time since living here: first they replaced my faulty water pressure regulator identified as an issue in my home inspection, then a few months ago they replaced my hot water heater that gave out since it was beyond its life expectancy. Late last night, I heard a gushing sound in my back yard… turns out one of my sprinkler pipes cracked and was spraying water everywhere…
Let me tell you, it was soooo nice not to have to panic about this one iota — I knew that Mainline would COME RIGHT OVER. And they did. 10pm on a Sunday night!
Aside from being available to their customers literally 24/​7, Mainline is as honest and reputable as they come. It is a pleasure to support this local small business. Ranelle and Cesar (the owners) are a pleasure to deal with, and their pricing is fair. Just as importantly, they have never tried to upsell me on anything, which tends to be prevalent in the home services industry. I trust them completely.
Yes, they are busy. But think about it: do you really want to use the plumber no one else calls? I just saw a review on here saying that getting him an estimate took too long for his liking. First, I assume this was something that Mainline was working up for him for free. Second, I also see that Ranelle apologized to him profusely. And third, I would think there’d be a little understanding that emergencies take precedence over bids for prospective work that might not even come to fruition. I speak from experience as someone who has had to wait himself — the first job I used Mainline for (the water pressure regulator) they wound up having to push my appointment twice due to emergencies that came up. But that’s totally understandable — I had no pressing issue like I did the next two times I used them, when they were at my door in an instant.
This is simply the trade-​off one needs to accept when using such a reputable, fair and knowledgeable small business — they only have limited resources, but will throw them whole hog at the most pressing problem at hand. If YOU have that pressing problem (and with plumbing, it is generally pretty all or nothing as far as the severity goes) then those are YOUR resources, ²⁴⁄₇. So to me, that is more than worth waiting a little bit in the non-​emergency situations. Thank you, Mainline.

I bought a 70 year old house. It has been a nightmare of plumbing needs. If you are like the other 99% of the world, like me, you can’t afford to just retrofit an entire house at once.
Ranelle and Mainline have come out here in waves taking on portions at a time over the past year, giving me deals I can afford and knocking out the house plumbing needs in sections so I can eventually finish the whole place. They are very busy but always make time for my special plumbing needs.
If you work with them they are wonderful in working with you and the most important part is the actual plumbing work is beyond exceptional. Hard to find vendors of any nature like them

I am shopping for prices and quotes to fix mu ceiling that’s leaking and the lady who picks up their phone and schedules their technician is extremely rude and unprofessional!
She was insisting that I was this other person she spoke with when it was my first time calling her today! Arrghhhhh! I don’t know how they bother to have customers if the 1^st person you’ll talk to is so unprofessional!!! NO STAR! Why isn’t that an option here!??

Yep, I agree, they deserve the five star Unilocal rating which I thought would be unheard of for a plumbing outfit. This company is genuinely interested in helping solve plumbing situations at a fair price rather than ripping off those less knowledgeable of plumbing problems and solutions.
I’m familiar with both commercial and residential plumbing and after only one issue in which I was out of town and needed to contact Mainline I’m completely sold on their credibility to provide value and will be using them whenever the need arises. I believe they deserve every bit of their five star rating and I’m one of those people who’s normally somewhat critical of these type of service providers.
