Before moving to the Santa Ynez Valley in 1996, Kaaren maintained an active holistic health care practice in Los Angeles & Santa Barbara. Since 1986, Kaaren has enjoyed teaching clients to create optimal health & well being through giving them an understanding of how to balance food choices with lifestyle in conjunction with simple self care natural healing methods and hands on acupressure sessions.

Her works draws upon more than 28 years of study in the traditional Asian healing arts, holistic nutrition, and western healing modalities. She is also the author «Eat Your Way To Health» and «Ageless Beauty From The Inside Out», a book on natural facial rejuvenation.

She has offices in Studio City, Santa Ynez & Beverly Hills as well as offering phone & video SKYPE consultations.

I started seeing Kaaren a few months ago. I was really unhappy with my weight and the way I was feeling all the time. I was pleasantly surprised after my first meeting with her; she showed true interest in my well-​being and was willing to incorporate my likes and desires into our plan. The jin shin jyutsu treatments that she performs during sessions are unbelievable and really set her apart from others in her field. She teaches some self-​help jin shin practices to do at home and keep yourself on track. Kaaren, herself, has gone through what many of her patients are going through, making her a very trustworthy source of inspiration. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family alike!

All of my girlfriends have an affinity with shopping for clothes. Where as for me, the very thought of shopping sends me into a spiral of depression. I can’t stand spending the day in a dressing room trying on a bunch of stuff that never looks good on me anyway. I was recently confronted with a medical issue and I was made aware that if I did not change my diet I would not live long enough to see my baby girl grow up. I tired a few diets to no avail, and then a friend of mine recommended I go see her nutritionist, Kaaren Jordan. I thought great… another diet… woohoo. But I had to try for my daughter. So I made an appointment with Kaaren. Upon meeting her I found out that I really had no idea about what I had previously been putting in my body. Even my «healthy choices» were not actually healthy. Did you know that although celery has negative calories, it is the vegetable highest in sodium??? Well neither did I. She taught me so much about food and what is best for me as an individual. I have a crazy sweet tooth. Did you know you can make your own candy bars using Coconut oil, Coco Power, Stevia and oats? I lost 10 pounds in the first 3 weeks I started working with her. I don’t feel hungry, angry or jipped. I feel enlightened. Now I have to go buy a new wardrobe because those good old fat girl pants are no were near fitting me. I have never been so excited to go shopping in my life. Kaaren also taught techniques on how to calm my fears, anger and put my emotions in check. Thanks Kaaren. You really touched my life. P. S. I did not go on a diet; I changed my diet for life.
