This wonderful gallery is also a shop. It sells unique items, many handmade, and is full of atmosphere. It’s a treat to visit this special spot, tucked in where you’d never expect. One of the great things about this area is Garendo Gallery — I’ve been visiting for years, and found the perfect gift on many occasions. But sometimes, a friend and I come just to see what’s new and we enjoy every minute. There’s no other place like GG.

The Garendo Gallery with the super Iroha Sushi behind it, is one of the neatest places I know. The owner Masako has a fine collection of rare and very hard to find museum quality items at good prices. I have bought items there for years and still can go in and find something«new» that is old. The inventory is always changing. She has unique, hand made native pieces from every corner of the world. It is much like an eclectic museum. One of the best places to visit in the Valley.

Garendo Gallery is one of those really nice discreet stores in Studio City that carry instruments, clothing, jewelry, artwork, and other cool items from different parts of the world. It’s a place that is truly one of a kind, with new additions to their inventory upon every visit. The lady that owns Garendo is extremely nice and she has a cool little dog that patrols the store, but DONOT try to pet it since it makes a face you don’t want to mess with! If you happen to be hungry, there’s a sushi bar behind the gallery that you can enter by leaving through the patio they share. Overall, a great place to visit in Studio City and an experience very few people will ever have.
