The chick that works here/​lives here (she’s always there!) is awesome!!!
She makes me my favorite peanut butter + chocolate shake with barely any milk so it’s thick and good hahahaha
they get busy in the evenings, but she is so friendly who cares if you have to wait?

Who goes here anymore? Me, me, me! Not often do I treat myself to ice cream (usually, it’s frozen yogurt baby!)…but when I do… I’m thinking COLD STONE.
The other night, I had the Oreo Cookie Frosting ice cream as the base… and didn’t need to add a thing to it. A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G, like the kind that makes you tilt your head slightly back, and then makes your eyes close and roll upwards. CRAZY GOOD.
My all-​time favorite has a combo of creamy, texture, and crunch. My own custom creation: mint ice cream base, marshmallow crème, oreo cookies, and chocolate sauce. INCREDIBLE!
Mindel, the ice cream master/​scooper/​mixer is just delightful, helpful, and a total sweetie. She’s there 24÷7÷365, or it seems so – she’s always there! ALWAYS!
This location has some street parking, and a easy valet service with free validation — FREE!

Yumm yummm yumm, I love when the American Red Cross gives me a free Love It for donating a pint of blood. This Cold Stone is really great! When we are in the mood to be really bad and have ice cream this is the only place in the area we will come. The service is hit or miss, sometimes it’s great and they give you the best servings other times it’s a little skimpy if you ask me but it is ALWAYS good! I’ve also placed orders for ice cream cakes on line and they were waiting for me upon arrival. If you are looking for a really yummy treat I would highly suggest stopping in. The parking can be a little tricky due to the location — if you can’t pull up and hop out in front, you may want to try the tandem underground 30min or less parking or the side street — alley way– my favorite is cake batter with rainbow sprinkles and brownies. Perfection!

I feel bad that I forgot the name of the AWESOME lady who helped me pick out an ice-​cream bday cake for my partner on the evening of November 3^rd.
I’ve never bought ice-​cream cakes before and have always been curious about it. I called in from work to ask if they had any available and this chipper, happy-​to-​be-​there lady told me they had a variety for me to pick from and that she’d help walk me through it.
Upon getting in, I was treated to a visual delight of ice-​cream cakes. She mentioned that the Oreo Cookie was the most popular in the small size, but when I asked for the most chocolatey? It was midnight-​delight, hands-​down.
So a few minutes later, my birthday message was written in white icing on a brown-​on-​dark-​brown velvety smooth, frozen ganache covered gift from the sugary dessert heaven.
She was great about showing me options, offering candles, offering the writing, giving me a card to write on, and leaving me with instructions on leaving it out for 5 – 8 minutes max, and keeping it in the freezer, along with how to properly slice the cake since a dry, cold knife will wreck it.
Talk about service. Anyway, on top of that, the cake itself? RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. I’m lactose intolerant, and needed lact-​aid to take a few bites, but each one was a heavenly mix of creamy chocolate ice cream with moist and spongy sweet chocolate cake.
If you’re a chocolate lover, and an ice-​cream fan, this is where you die and go to heaven.

I worked here for about a year. I was laying in bed last night thinking about how much I missed all the customers I used to know by name. The guy that owns this place is honest, kind, and put a lot of effort into making this place great. and contrary to popular belief, its not *that* expensive considering how good it is! Give it a try.

good ice cream but cost a lot

Of Course Cold Stone Ice Cream is amazing but this location has the worst customer service. Every time we go here someone is on the phone, eating or just simply not wanting to help. They also close 15 minutes early sometimes. So frustrating when all you want is a little ice cream treat!

This location is under new ownership/​management and it’s made a world of difference. Very kind, attentive service and the right portions. Now I have my summer ice cream spot.

Sumptuous goodness! What a rich, super creamy, sugary treat. I scream for this kind of ice cream. My serving feels like two scoops’ worth. Try Coffee Lovers Only if you are like me. My order was for Strawberry Ice cream with strawberries and walnuts but when I saw what my friend had ordered, I wanted a taste. He suggested I get a sample spoon and take a taste of the Coffee Lovers Only, with Coffee ice cream, almonds, Heath Toffee bar and caramel. I tried it and had that instant, «I should have ordered that!» feeling.
The strawberry ice cream was sweet, thick and very filling but I really liked the Coffee Lovers Only a lot. Next time I know I’m going to be ordering that. I came in early when the owner was there. He has a good sense of fun and customer service. This Cold Stone Creamery sure put a smile on my face.

I am sooo disappointed with this place. I have gone in several times and I love their ice cream but a few of the people they employ are TERRIBLE. Unfortunate since there are a few good ones but the clown who was overly worried about his supply of spoons has just lost them a customer. And yes, the prices are ridiculous.

Six bucks for a scoop of ice cream? Apparently I had one of their extra special scoops so I was surprised to find the total came to about two bucks more than I expected. (The menu doesn’t make it clear which scoops are the more costly).
Don’t get me wrong, the ice cream was very good but, um, can’t see spending that much for a scoop of ice cream again.

I’m a big fan of Cold Stone Creamery, and I’ve only ever eaten at two of them (Simi Valley and Studio City). I understand Unilocalers experience vary from location to the next, and I’m here to tell you that this location didn’t disappoint. My girl behind the counter made my order just as I’d asked, and even recommend one waffle cone over another for its freshness. I thank her, and I’ll see her again soon.

Hello, my name is Stephy, I’m in my 30’s and up until Monday afternoon I had never been to a Cold Stone Creamery.
It’s shocking, I realize, and based on my friends reaction of «WHAT!!!» I guess it is a bit weird, but hey, I love mom and pop places, so why support the corporate evil?
There’s also the fact that ice cream really isn’t my thing. In fact, it’s a very rare day when I crave it, but for some reason on Monday it sounded good and so we went. Once in, I kinda cringed at the corporateness (oh yeah, that is sooo not a real word), but as soon as I saw the Germanchokolatekake on the menu, oh holy hell, sorry mom and pop, but I’m sellin you down the river for that chocolate ice cream, pecans, coconut, brownie and caramel mix of genius! (Wow, I really am such a sucker!)
I then ordered it in the smallest cup size in an effort to avoid a bigger pant size, but then they tricked me! (Yes, blame them steph, that’s the ticket!) The guy dangles the 20 cents more carrot in front of me and tells me that the next size up is double the fun for a mere 20 cents more. I tried to hold strong and chanted «small cup, small ass, small cup, small ass» but then what pops out of my mouth, «Awesome, sounds like a plan!!» (Daaaaaaaaaaamn!!)
I then watched him play mash ups with my pending cup of dessert doom and my mouth was literally watering. I don’t know if anyone saw this, but I must have looked like an animal on Planet Earth stalking and waiting for its next meal. (Just sad, steph)
Finally it was done, ready and smooshed into that next size up cup and even though I hadn’t paid for it and my friend hadn’t received his yet, I jumped right in. No shame at all I tell ya, but OH MY GOD, this was AMAZING! So rich, so creamy, so fantastical!
What have you done to me Cold Stone!!! I was sooo good about ice cream til you! Now I’m going to be craving you in the weeee hours of my insomniac mornings! And just for that, I’m withholding that last star you bastards!
