Coastal Paddle Boarding specializes in guided tours and rentals of stand up paddle boards. We have a variety of tours in various settings to fit your needs. There is the Manatee Pocket tour that takes place in an area that is sheltered from the wind and has very little boat traffic. Then there is the Peck Lake tour that takes you from sheltered mangrove areas to busier intracoastal waters to the ocean and back.

It is not unusual to see manatees, sea turtles and dolphins on our tours and while paddling from our launch area. You will see a variety of fish and birds. We also have many different sizes and styles of boards.

We also have kayaks available for rental. Some of the other things we have to offer are birthday parties, team building, field trips, full moon paddles, sunrise and sunset paddles and much more.

If you are looking for experienced people to take you out on our local waters, we are the best! We go out of our way to make your day!

History

Established in 2010.

We are licensed and insured.

We started as a mobile company that had a truck, trailer and 6 boards. In September, 2010 we opened a shop in Hobe Sound. In January of 2011 we moved to our water front location at The Fish House Art Center in Port Salerno. We expanded to a small retail shop, added many more boards, kayaks and acquired a pontoon boat. In February of 2013 we relocated our launch and main business to between The Twisted Tuna and Manatee Island Bar and Grill. We have a multi slip launch specially designed for safe and easy launching of paddle boards and kayaks. We now have more than 30 boards to choose from. We can’t wait to see where things go from here!

Business Owner

Dan and Rochelle are native Floridians. They are avid watermen with a back ground in swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, SUP surfing, canoing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. Rochelle has been flat water and SUP surfing for 6 years and Dan has been doing it for 8 years! Rochelle has a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Oceanography from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Rochelle and Dan are the proud parents of 3 great kids. Rochelle was a stay at home mom for 18 years before opening this business 4 years ago. Dan has worked in the telecommunications field for over 25 years.
