Birds on Safari is an Exotic Bird Specialty store. We offer a wide selection of toys, food, cages, playgyms and hand fed baby birds including African Greys, Amazons, Conures, Caiques, Toucans, and more. We also offer boarding, grooming, and DNA sexing for your feathered friend.

Established in 2002.

Birds on Safari is a family owned & run business. It has been around since the early 80’s and the current owners, Jason & Dana Shane, have owned the business since January 2002.

Dana S.

Business Owner

Dana is a native of Martin County and has lived in many places along the East Coast of Florida She met her husband while working at Discovery Island Zoological Park at Walt Disney World. She returned to the Stuart area in 2000 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Arizona. She has 2 children who have been raised in the store and you will often see them helping with the birds and customers.
