Description

Specialties

We speak canine (& feline)!

All dogs of any age are welcome in our Behavioral Training (we do refer aggressive dogs to Carolyn at Raspberry Ridge Sheep Farm.). Yes, you can teach old dogs new tricks.

All puppies under the age of 6 months should attend an OFF leash puppy kindergarten, starting as early as 8 weeks. This is a window of opportunity which should not be ignored as it cannot be «made up» down the road. (The same reason we don’t send 12 yr. children to kindergarten.) Socializing/training your pup in an «alien» environment (even if you have a dog at home) is so important.

Pet Sitting -. We have a few slots open for new cat clients. Give us a call so you can meet us and we can meet your sweetie/s.

We offer jaeger and comfort leashes, 50′ long lines for exercise/training and a line of organic shampoos — all Made in USA. We also offer a fantastic line of pet food, delivered to your door, shipping included. Never a recall. (Check out our website for the full line.)

History

Established in 1999.

Fifteen years ago, Mrs. Kramer made the transition from being an excellent correction/reward trainer to becoming an outstanding positive motivational canine trainer. Aside from her many returning students, students often come back with a new dog to their household to build a good solid positive foundation for their new family member.

Meet the Business Owner

Mrs. Fran A.

Business Owner

Mrs. Kramer has always been fascinated by animal behavior and since dogs have been a part of her life since infancy, it was natural for her to gravitate to canine behavior. It was an natural step to progress to becoming a nationally certified professional dog trainer. She also has 19 years of veterinary experience under her belt.

Fifteen years ago, Mrs. Kramer was introduced to positive motivational dog training and realized its great benefits over the old correction/reward training so common in our negative society. Mrs. Kramer’s positive techniques have created some amazing changes in students’s dogs. But, as she reminds her students, the owner/handlers have to do their part too. It’s a team effort.
