I absolutely love this barn! As soon as I came here, I progressed way quicker then the barn I used to go to. Great/sweet horses and ponies, awesome and friendly staff that are always there to help(just ask!) They choose you a perfect mount, that suits you best and which is good for your riding level! I came here when was in 6th grade(now in 10th) rode on Bouncer as a beginner, and now am jumping some small courses(that’s how fast I progressed!) Definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been taking horse back riding lessons here for about 6 weeks, and I love it !! Ive been taking lessons since I was 4, and had a few year break from riding. I started back up with Carmine, and she’s really great !! She’s professional, knows what she’s doing, and most importantly NICE! I think Perfecta is a very, very clean barn … Andddd the horses look all taken care of ! The school horses are beautiful ! I love coming for my lesson and my horse is usually all tacked up for me. Love this place so far !

This place might be reputable for learning riding horses and compete at the show. However the head trainer and the barn manager are very rude and not respect to their client. I went there once for lesson as I just moved here from East Coast, The barn manager first saw me, without saying hello or asking if I need help as I was new here, she first criticized about my shoes. I am going to change my shoes to riding boots, but as a barn manager you need to let your first time customer have a chance to ask where is the bathroom to change to my riding pants and boots… I then asked about boarding and they said will call me back but they never did. You have to go to the show regularly in order to get a proper respect at this barn. Overall, the environment and place is clean but the people here are rude. I only took one lesson here and will never come back. Why spend the same amount of money where you can get better trainer at better facility with better respect as there are so many barns around Chicago area…

This farm is awesome for all level of riders. Our daughter Lexi has been riding here for a bit over 2 years now. Started out with Bonnie… great trainer who helps the students stay focused and serious during their lesson. Her patience with the younger riders is spot on. She’s so supportive of her students and has taught our daughter a ton. The summer camps she leads are tons of fun and a great learning experience for the riders. As of lately our daughter has also been training with Carmine as well. She really is such a skilled trainer and her demeanor is so professional and focused and supportive. What I love about Carmine’s approach is at the end of each lesson she spends 5 minutes talking with us about our daughters lesson… why she did well… and what can be worked on. You can tell Carmine takes great pride in teaching the riders. We absolutely love this place. Great horses and trainers with a strong focus on safety in a friendly family like environment for your equestrian to ride!!!

Perfecta Farm is as good as it gets in the Chicago area. I have ridden with numerous instructors in my life and feel like the knowledge and experience of the trainers at Perfecta make them the best. The horses are fit, well trained, and immaculately cared for. Mara, Carmine, and Kim are so in tuned to the horses and how best to ride them that lessons are a constant learning experience. My daughters, who are just starting out, are having so much fun and riding very safe ponies. They love it, I love it, you will love it!
