Standard neighborhood bar. Standard neighborhood bar food. Good burgers. Nothing special except it’s a great place to catch local original bands. Great sound system at the club. Last week saw 3 great original bands Kevin Lee & The Kings, A.P.S. and One Ping Only. 3 different acts but it’s good to see bands doing their thing.

I’ve lived down the street from this place for 11 years, and made dozens of visits. That’s what qualifies me to write the review. It’s a dive, and not in a good way. Worst service; maddening every time. The bartenders are rude to everyone except the regulars. I go to a watering hole to RELAX, so when I leave with my blood pressure up from having paid for crap service… Well, you can imagine how that feels. Feels like a real gyp. And if I’m going to get gypped, I want to get gypped by a real gypsy, not a bunch of WT(yes, that means what you think it does) thirty-somethings who think they’re big because some liquor-heads at a local bar know their name. You’re a bartender, not an international pop star. OK, so take your place, serve the customer, and try a smile, just even once a day would be an improvement. Crappy beer selection. Sometimes there’s some OK live music. Most of the time, just really loud TVs. HOWEVER — The food is really good. I always enjoy my snacks or meal. Garlic bread — yum! Baked potato — hot! ALLTHATJAZZ — Best deal going! But, I’m still glad I’m moving away from this dump. It’s unaffectionately known in my circle as «s-hole». Like, do you want to walk to «s-hole» for a beer?(and yes, the«s» means what you think it does.

I recently just visited this bar for the first time, and I have to say it was a great choice for a pregame considering I only live about 5 minutes away! A mixed drink and a draft beer were only $ 7.25. There aren’t many prices in the burbs that have prices like that. Sure the décor is outdated, but that that’s what makes local/townie bars so fun! Haven’t tried any of the food yet, but who knows… maybe I will!

Neighborhood bar. I’ve always driven by here and seen their daily specials. They are always busy it seems like when any of the Chicago team are playing. Finally visited there. I went on a Monday, they had 50¢ wings and follar draft. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. The wings were a good size, bigger than BW3 wings. Inside they have lots of TV screen, jukebox, video poker and the typical pub games. If you’re looking for a no-frills bar this place is it. I’ll probable stop by again.

I just moved down the street from the loop a month ago and I have been going there literally everyday but since I don’t cook I usually go twice a day. A group of my friends went there last night and in just a few hours out tabs collectively was about 400 $ we were all still laughing and having a good time though. Towards the end of the night we made a three stooges joke and I did the classic«moe» slap lightly to my girlfriend and two of my other friends, after the slap we all started laughing and enjoying ourselves. Then this old lady sitting a few stools down from us walks over and starts screaming at me, while her other older girlfriend and boyfriend sat there and stared me and my friends down. Then after a minute of the lady yelling at me she decides to slap the hell out of me. I manage a bar currently and have managed, bounced, bartended, and served at many other bars and this terrible bouncer that I have never seen there before tells us we have to leave before he calls the police??? So in perspective you have a group of younger adults there that are blowing a lot of money quick buying shots and beers for each other and other people around the bar. This young group that could potentially bring a lot more people in had an inside joke that another older crowd of 3 customers doesn’t like. So a member from the old crowd comes over and hits someone from the larger younger group of 7. Younger people is what keeps the bar industry going and they typically spend more which is one reason not to kick them out without trying to resolve it, the older people physically hits someone which is number one on why they should be taken out first, and lastly it’s about crowd control with a small staffed bar like this if u have 7 people to kick out or three u make it easier on yourself! The most despicable part is that my best friend Angel grew up and still lives down the street between him his parents and brother they have been drinking in there for over 15 years he told me. He is a local marine vet and this bouncer yells at us on our way out that Angel is not allowed back. This bar was going to be my new local which all my friends know that means we are going there every Friday and having a blast but they just missed out and lost a lot of business, not to mention in the summer when I’m riding with a ton of bikers and we usually stop at s bar before the after party at my place.

Pretty average sports bar. Went on a Saturday night to catch a cover band which made for a good time. Appreciated the specials and was genuinely surprised by how good the margaritas and pretzels were.

This is a dive bar with live music and sports on TV(gee really?). The crowd covers a range of ages and is very casual. If you don’t flash a tattoo you’ll be easily identified as a non-regular. It was a friendly place though.

Great local hangout with something for everyone! Plenty of TV’s for whichever sport you’re into. Lotto and video gaming machines. Bands on the weekends. Friendly owner and staff! Excellent food and drinks with daily specials. Who could pass up $ 1 steak, chicken or beef tacos on a Wednesday? Pizza’s are some of the best around!

We stopped in for lunch while dropping off a guitar next door. About 1pm on a Saturday. Pretty busy parking lot full.(Small parking lot) They have lots of tables and several tvs. Food. We order the special large Hawaiian pizza 10.00 the crust is very thin and crispy. BBQ was alright not that much more like a thin layer but did the job. The cheese was there. Funny thing the pineapple was placed 1 on each slice and next to that the ham was placed. So topping were lacking. I also order the cobb wrap. yum. It came with the best fries and we order a side of cheese that reminded me of my childhood. We also got the chili it was good and temperature hot. However my broccoli soup was cold. Nice service.

The other reviewers are right. Yeah, this place is a dive bar. Yeah, some of the patrons look a little douchy or sketchy… one guy in particular was loud and obnoxious and if anyone laughed at something he said he’d beat that joke until it begged for mercy. Yes, it looks like a place you go to long enough you’ll see a bar fight, and no, you don’t want to bring your kids there. But the place is also full of good, down to earth genuine people too. People you’re not going to mind sitting next to. So far the food is ok, not great. I tried the nachos, which were fine, but the chili was weirdly sweet. The steak tacos were passable but that’s it. The rice on the side was excellent though, and the beans were decent. I tried a chicken flatbread which was tasty, and their pasta salad is delicious. There’s a little something for everyone in there. Lots of tv’s, darts all kinds of gambling stuff, those trivia machines, and of course the people. I wish it had a bigger beer menu though… it’s pretty small. I know I’ll be back. I wouldn’t say this is the place for dinner but if you live close and want to have some drinks and food, you’ll be happy. The prices are very reasonable… we spent 54 bucks on 7 – 8 beers, 4 pops an appetizer and two dinners. Just because it’s a three star place doesn’t mean you won’t have fun, it just means the place isn’t the Ritz Carlton and that’s fine by me.

First time in this place but I’ll be back. It’s a dive bar atmosphere and has some slots if you’re into gambling. They have good specials EVERY day so you dont need to break the bank. The staff was friendly and attentive and the pizza was really good.

Trying to describe this place ;) sports bar /regular hangout /bands and events. Very casual place with daily drink and food specials. The food is good. Try the homemade cheese sticks. They have a good Bears ½ time free buffet(even though I am a Packers fan). Servers are great. Go… you’ll have fun, the place has a good vibe.

They book a band and don’t pay them. Can’t really respect people like that regardless of the menu/specials/atmosphere

Nothing bad to say about this place. I love there dollar tacos on Wednesdays and the people there are nice. Only downside is the highschool talent level of bands that sometimes place there

This bar reminds me of my college bar. You walk in there and the customers look like they are stuck in the 90’s too… some early 80’s. They have the best tacos and hamburgers. I can’t believe I am actually raving about bar food, but they have really good food and reasonably priced drinks. They actually make perfect Long Island’s. Never a dull moment in this place.
