Are you looking for string and/​or brass musicians?

We’ve performed beautiful music for at least 125 weddings and other special events each year since 1990 (that’s over 2000) and our library contains over 1000 pieces of music.

We feature a string quartet with trumpets but other combinations are available: string quartet, solo violin and/​or trumpet, brass quintet…

We play all the traditional music selections but we also have a wide variety of non-​traditional choices as well. We write many of our own arrangement so we can offer you options that you won’t find anywhere else.

Our contemporary library is quite versatile — we play Gershwin, Sinatra, Beatles, Zeppelin, Verve, etc.

We have played with: Brian Wilson, ELO, Page and Plant (Led Zeppelin), Luciano Pavarotti, Dennis DeYoung and others.

Established in 1990.

We started the Brass String Chamber Ensemble in 1990 and have enjoyed playing for over 2000 weddings and other special events throughout Chicagoland. Each year we add new pieces to our library and write new arrangements. We’re proud of our reputation and hope to have the opportunity to share our music with you soon!

Business Owner

We met in 1989 and started the Brass String Chamber Ensemble one year later. We got married in 1994 and now we enjoy working with engaged couples to select the best music and musicians for their wedding day. If you like the idea of combining strings and brass then you’ve come to the right place. We are one of only a few ensembles in the country that specialize in this combination of instruments and have a comprehensive library containing a wide variety of musical styles.
