We sell fresh fish and also provide catering services. We provide one of the best fish and chips you will find in any nearby restaurant. Our staff is very cheerful and helpful. If you’d rather eat at home or on the job, give us a call and we’ll deliver the best Fish & Chips you’ve ever had.

Two words… Food. Poisoning. The other reviewers are correct about the poor customer service. I bought their clam chowder, shrimp cocktail and fresh salmon to make for dinner. After eating the clam chowder and shrimp cocktail, me and my family all got sick and stayed sick for a full day. We never got to cook the salmon and wish we had never eaten there in the first place. I’d recommend going elsewhere. It’s not worth the poor customer service or the chances of going through what we endured.

I’ve enjoyed this place in the past for what it is: simple seafood. I’ve heard other ppl say that the customer service is lacking but I’ve never had anything particularly bad to say until today. I usually call in my order to pick up but today we wanted to eat in. The place has two separate parts. We went to the front and asked the cashier if we should order with her to eat in or go around to the other side. In the most condescending tone she told us that we order HERE and they bring it to us out THERE. it was REALLY nasty. There was no line so it’s not like we were interrupting her from being with another customer or otherwise doing her job. My boyfriend and I looked at each other and just walked out. After we were walking out she called after us, «you’re not ordering? Ok.» There was NO way we were going to give our money to an establishment that talks to customers like that.

Awesome! Its great this place exist. Even better that there open all year round! Not just in the summer like most seafood joints. Fish and chips are a must try. Fried oysters/​shrimp are excellent and fresh. They also have other things like hot dogs and salads. Thanks Ubertis!

Here is the deal! I go back with a
coupon (spend 10 and get 20 worth of food). It’s a weekday night and the snotty lady working in the uncooked seafood side — says I have to hurry up and place my order because they like to close. It is 6:12 pm! 45 minutes to order on the other side and eat and leave. She said it’s getting late and should come back another day. What a snotty unprofessional woman! She was horrible to us and we will never go back there to eat! I’m not kidding! This is the worst experience I’ve had in years. Nothing can top someone chasing us away. Rude! Sorry/​but when his dad owned it– I was always treated well. This does not sit well with me and she shouldn’t be employed there!!!

Food was great and the employees were very friendly. If you want some really good seafood reasonably priced I highly recommend you try it. They have a take-​out window and placed my order and then about 5 minutes later I was good to go. Definitely will be back.

and basically got laughed that when I attempted to you it… It can be used on specials.(which is not listed on the
voucher) I attempted to purchase something else and it couldn’t be used on that either. What’s the point? That’s fine! I’ll just stay in Bridgeport for my fried seafood!

My friend and I ordered the lobster roll and fried oyster platter. Food came out quick and looked great! Lobster roll was good nothing to complain about there besides maybe it could have been slightly larger. The oyster platter was a decent size for the price. The oysters looked delicious and the smaller ones were. But when biting into the larger ones I was very disappointed. They were undercooked and wet. Seeing as they were fried I was expecting it to be cooked through with a nice buttery chewy texture. I would definitely go here again and try something else or maybe just request they cook the oysters a tad longer.

I wish I took a photo of the seafood salad roll I had, but I devoured it before the though. A huge amount of large chunk crab meat. Its on the menu to be ordered as a wrap, but have them put it on a bun, well worth it. Might be the best seafood salad I’ve ever had.
Also ordered the clam strips which were to be as expected and an appropriate amount.
Fries were pretty good, and surprisingly traveled well as we took our order to go.
I am a coleslaw nut, and it theirs looked disappointing, but yet another surprise! I think they used horseradish to give it a kick, and it is certainly awesome.
Only possible complaint would be the stingy amount of tartar sauce and slaw. My boss ordered from himself and another manager who wasn’t there (two meals, one small tartar). We had to go back and ask for a second where we were kind of given a funny look.
Lets go Uberti’s, it would be a costless effort to get larger containers for the tartar and slaw, and would make a huge difference. I’d have added the fifth star!

The Rhode Island chowder does bare too much of a resemblance to vegetable soup. Like others have said– they are good for Stratford. Further down the Shoreline where there’s more competition they might not come off as hot but if you are in the area looking for a low key seafood shack Uberti’s will do the trick

This place has certainly fallen from grace. Lobster rolls are swimming in butter and I was suprised to find hair in it and choke on a fish bone. How does a fish bone get into a lobster roll? Changing the grease in the frier wouldn’t hurt; the fries were awful. It also looks like they hired a trailer park crew to work there. They are lucky they have dedicated senior citizens as customers that remember the place when it wasn’t a dump that help keep it alive. There are much better places to eat that arent located near a swamp with flies. Its place like this that make you want to eat at home. Guy Fieri please avoid.

This is the best little seafood market/​restaurant that I always come to when I come to Connecticut from Oregon. It has the freshest seafood, very nice customer service. I Love the whole belly fried clams they are the boom. My daughter loves the Crabcakes. We will stop here once or twice more before we go home in 10 days

Traveled all the way from NY and heard about this place so we had to stop by… This is the true definition of a seafood shack, small place, nothing pretty to look at, however, the woman taking our order was sweet and friendly and the food was amazing and fresh.
I had the lobster roll first, This was one of the best I have ever had, served on a toasted hot dog style bun, the lobster was warm and covered in butter and herbs. I would rub this lobster all over my buddys chest, and eat it off him using only my tongue it is that damn good. Every bite was like a taste of heaven. The clam strips were magical, fried to perfection and fresh as f**k. I would marry the woman at the counter and dedicate my life to her and be a faithful loving husband to her for as long as she hand fed me this succulent strips of clam. My friend had the shrimp, these shrimp were large and size does matter, the tartar sauce was god like. This sauce is not out of the jar it is clearly hand made by very skilled mythological figures. The crab cakes were also fresh and made from scratch and effing amazing.
This place will forever be apart of my dreams until one day I make the journey back here. Pure perfection.

Found it by chance, we were traveling from NYC to New Haven and when we got hungry open Unilocal and search for a place to have lunch with good reviews. As usual we were not disappointed by Unilocal.
As soon as we arrived a group of 4 locals immediately recommended the fish and chips. Very good: very tasty and the fish as fresh as it gets.
Also try the lobster roll: Very good too. Fresh lobster in butter and fresh roll. It does not need anything else.
Service: The guy was super nice.
