Just an excellent meal, all around. I had the venison loin, and others in my party had the pancetta wrapped chicken thigh, fillet of beef and maple soy glazed quail. Fantastic! Everything was delicious and I couldn’t be happier.

What a delicious, delightful time we had last Friday night in Trapp’s Main Dining Room. The out-​of-​shell lobster on tiny corn kernels with a lovely sauce (3 out of 6 of us went for it!) was the best crustacean I’ve ever had! Our future Daughter-​in-​Law, was all smiles with the taste of it… as was her Dad, the future Father-​in-​Law! My better half, had 1 small plate of Cauliflower Risotto and another of Lamb with Corn Fritter… all divine! And our son’s future Mother-​in-​Law, went for a large plate of Corn Ravioli. She loved it! We were the last in the beautiful dining room, but felt more than welcome! Go!

Sit in the lounge and you can order from the dining room menu in a more relaxed environment! Burger (from beef grown on site) is delicious!!! Local beer (from trapp brewery) was divine!!!

Amazing restaurant. The prices may seem a little on the high end, but you are paying for great, quality food. If you have an open mind and are willing to try new foods you will be pleasantly surprised by how good some of the dishes actually are. I tend to go for the tasting menu – always magnificent!

Expensive. $ 17 for a caesar salad? A medium sized salad. Salad was tasty. Service was slow. And as we finished up, we were told the 20% was added for service without our approval. I didn’t like that at all.

This is an elegant old world restaurant befitting the Trapp Family Lodge with staff in Austrian dress, and candles on the tables. The views across the valley are wonderful. The staff is knowledgable and attentive and the food was excellent. We would especially recommend the pumpkin ravioli and the chicken thighs wrapped in pancetta.
