This place has everything you expect and want your local butcher to have. From homemade soups to specialty cuts of meat, they have it all. The staff is both friendly and knowledgable.

Kirbie’s to the rescue!
I needed a whole duck for the husband’s birthday, as is the tradition, and Kirbie’s had ducks! They were also reasonable, too! I was more than thrilled to find this out since I had placed orders at other specialty markets closer to home and not one of them came through.
So while there, picking up the duck, we also bought some ham lunchmeat and some pre-​made salads. The husband got the macaroni salad and said it was pretty good. I decided on the bacon ranch potato salad and wow! I LOVED IT! So much bacon!!! Not overly ranch flavored. Very good, indeed! (Now don’t go there and buy it all out, m’kay?)

After every catering service under the sun turned into a horrible domino effect of awful food tastings, over priced down payments, and rude staff; Kirbie’s came highly recommend to my fiancé & I.
Let’s just say it was some of the worst food I’ve had in a long time! I was surprised at the reviews since they are 4 to 5 stars across the board– but keep in mind that it’s for items people bought & cooked themselves, not catering!!!
My fiancé & I tried their cheesy potatoes (way too salty & the flavor was like eating a raw onion), the beef brisket (super dry & flavorless), stuffed chicken (was like a microwave chicken dinner with stove top stuffing shoved inside), etc… disgusting! And what added to the bland food was the lack of cleanliness. Our tasting was set up in their little wine area & we were sat at a dirty table :(In fact, when I started looking around for something to get the horrible taste of onion potato out of my mouth– all the tables were dirty :/​
Really disappointed! However, the store itself is cute…

No grill can be happy without a weekly stop at Kirbie’s Meats.
Huge stuffed pork chops, house made marinades ($ 1 /​lb extra indluding vacuum bagging), cheese, dip, deli meat, house made bread crumbs, and even fresh mussels!
This is our go-​to place for meat all summer long… and during the holidays we special order a Capon for Thanksgiving (yeah, we’re contrarians) and this year pork belly with skin for Christmas.
I saw a recipe for porchetta in Food and Wine magazine… headed to Kirbies… and placed an order for pork belly with skin… no problem!
Catering is available including on site BBQ and clam bakes.

Where do you go when you need duck? Because I go to Kirbie*s!!!
This is the friendliest little shop — and it is a heaven for foodies like myself! So many amazing cuts of meat and the staff is so eager to come over and explain how to pick a cut, keep the meat, and prepare it.
Take a browse around — you will find some awesome homemade deli, soup, and salad dishes! A decent wine selection too! I wouldn’t recommend the things in the middle, the spices and sauces are no different than your local grocery store, so stick with what Kirbie’s does best.
I’ve heard they do some great wine tastings, but I have not been able to go — worth checking out!

If you’re having a party, or need some meat or fish for a nice recipe, you should check out Kirbie’s.
They have a lot of stuff in this little place. Lots of appetizers prepared by their catering crew for parties. Their dips are pretty amazing. I don’t think I’ve had a bad one.

So glad we have finally found a good quality butcher in the area. They carry every type and every cut of meat you could ever want. I have some ground bison waiting for me in my freezer right now. Next time, I’m buying some calf heart. YUM.
The only thing they’re missing is grass-​fed and pasture-​raised options. I’d give them five stars if they made those available.
The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. You know they love what they do.

I don’t know if I can completely convey how much I love this store. It is a rare gem in an unlikely location, a corner shopping center. When the owners and workers really, and I mean REALLY love food and provide great service, it shows in every little way. The store is bright, well-​lit, clean, and everything is displayed with real thoughtfulness.
That they also have a great wine section with a wide selection (and wine-​tastings, too) is just icing on the already delicious cake. I just wish they were about fifteen miles closer to my house! I will, though, continue to drive there, as there really isn’t anything quite as complete or as friendly that I’ve found in the state. Stop over. You’ll see what I mean.
