We specialize in making children of all ages happy! Your children will laugh and smile while being entertained by Violet and/​or Teddy Town. Violet does fancy face painting, a hillarious childrens magic show and exciting balloon sculptures. Teddy Town is a mobile teddy bear stuffing company. We bring all the fun right to your party. The children play a great game, with a magic trick. They choose, stuff, fluff their very own bear or animal with the stuffing machine. Then they are treated to a balloon sculpture. We have a huge selection of bears and animals, outfits and accessories for the children to choose from. Everyone loves Violet the Clown and Teddy Town.

History

Established in 1993.

Heidi (I) became Violet the Clown in 1993 and have loved working with children and families all over New England ever since. When I started out I made my first costume and tried to learn the trade on my own. It wasn’t until I went to Clown College with the Shriners that I figured out my name would be Violet and what I would look like. It took a lot of practice and time to get going but it has always been fun work that I enjoy. Teddy Town was started in 2006 when we (Heidi and Ed) realized that there was a need for a safe at home way to stuff bears and animals at a party, corporate event or school with out having to drag the party to the mall. We found a company that would make us a mobile stuffing machine and found bears and animals and got started. We have been slowly growing over the past few years. Our customer base grows by word of mouth and has steadily increased every year. We are very excited about the response to Violet the Clown and Teddy Town and we really love what we do!

I have a back round in banking and business, pre clowning. I have a wonderful family and really love being able to have a flexible job and business so that I can spend tons of time with them.

One of the unexpected benefits of being Violet the Clown has been that I have had the privelage of becoming very good friends with many of the customers that we have worked with, they have become an extension of our family and that brings me joy.
