DONOT bother to dine-in. I’ve been to this location a few times and each time I wait on average of 40 minutes for my food.(Once was almost an hour). Food was ok, but your better off going elsewhere if you want it in a timely manner.

I called and ordered a lg pepperoni pizza, the girl on the phone said it would be about 25 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes before I left to pick it up and when I got there the girl asked for my name and said that the order never had been called in so I showed her my phone and she saw that I did call. She said«oh well, do you want me to put the order in now? «I just shook my head and I left

Very slow; I don’t see how they can stay in business. No wonder the place is empty. I’d leave but I’m hungry. Total time for my order was over 15 minutes for two small subs.

Would prefer to not even give this place one star. Absolutely horrible. Ordered small breadsticks with ziti. Now typically you receive two breadsticks with the pasta dishes, no problem. They decided to use 2 breadsticks from my order to fulfill the pasta meal. I mean come on. Not to mention, they basically put these breadsticks together from about 5 other orders. They were all different, some with more cheese, some twice as long as the others, clearly not in the same order. They were literally throw in with maybe a tablespoon of the sauce. I asked for another sauce and the woman rolled her eyes. I requested fresh breadsticks as these looked like they were made last week, she rolled her eyes and was like«really? You need me to make another batch?» Like, no it’s fine I don’t mind paying the ridiculous amount of money for something you made last week. Probably some of the rudest employees. A man came in, who had some sort of speech deficit and the woman was so rude to him. Having him repeat himself 5 – 6 times while holding back a laugh. She asked the«shift leader» to come help her since she couldn’t understand. The second he walked out they both started making fun of him. I’m not sure where they found their employees, but the lack of professionalism leads me to believe it’s not hard to get a job there.

I grew up on PG’s pizza and still believe it to be as good as any out there, esp for a chain. Consistently yummy – tangy tomato sauce(not sweet – yech), cheese that doesn’t clump & string off when you bite it and that crust – mmmmmm, thin and crispy, a little chewy(in a good way), the whole thing just melts in your mouth. Plain cheese is delicious, though toppings are typically fresh. Now that I live in MD, I really, really miss Papa G’s as most of the pizza in this area is extremely lame. If they ever franchised down here, they’d put a lot of these charlatans out of business and make a mint. Every visit to family in Mass involves at least one trip to Cobb’s Corner PG. My wife(a native DC/MD person) realizes how much better this pizza is(though she’s more of a Town Spa lover). The only thing, like a lot of places, is they’ve messed around with the sizes. You have to get an XL to get the equivalent of what used to be a large. You’ll never appreciate having so much good pizza in the Boston area until you move away. It’s probabl a good thing in some ways as I’d probably be 20 lbs fatter if all that good PG’s pizza were available here. I’m already looking forward to this Thanksgiving trip to MA for my Papa Gino’s. Just seeing that first PG logo on the Mass Pike and I know I’m ‘home’. Bottom line: great pizza, every time and the service(at least the take out) is pleasant and punctual(though I’d wait days to eat their pizza – feel like a PG pizza ‘addict’, can’t get enough of it).

Ordered 4 antipasto salads for delivery. I received the 4 salads after 45 minutes because they sent the driver to the wrong address. The salads arrived looking like a pathetic excuse for a $ 9 salad from a pizza place. I called to discuss the situation with the store. The girl answering the phone couldn’t have been ruder«I don’t know you’ll have to talk to the manager.» She didn’t ask me to hold. «The manager» picks up the phone to tell me his general manager made the salads. I ask to speak to her. She already left for the day. I thought she just made the salads. «No she doesn’t work open to close, she made them this morning.» oh we’ll I have ordered these multiple times from the other location and they look nothing like this. «Well they are made right.» I told him well if that’s it then tell your general manager when she makes it in the morning that she lost a customer. «Ok» bottom line I guess they are all set with customers and don’t really care if you like the food. I have an office in my house and order out 4 – 5 times per week for myself as well as workers and clients. I will take my $ 200 per week delivery budget and give it to a company that cares. I can tell you that this is the first time I ever called a place that delivers to the house I have lived in for 14 years. This is the first negative food review ever written on line by me. I am on the computer 12 hours per day easily.

Service is unusually slow here. Staff is friendly and food is consistent though. I miss the days of timed lunch when they guaranteed food in a few minutes. I went once had spaghetti and prob won’t be back. My mom had salad and both were just ok. I miss being able to eat their pizza.

The pizza is good and they have good subs, sides, and burgers. I think you need to eat it there though, the delivery service at this location is pretty slow and you need to enjoy the pizza right when it comes out of the oven. They have a good rewards program too. Every time I eat there I can’t help but have flashbacks of before they redid it. BRINGBACKTHEJUKEBOX! The parking lot is a pain to get in and out of though, its right on 138 and people usually won’t let you in or out.

The food is good, but every time we order from this particular Papa Gino’s, there is ALWAYS an error with our order. When we order from one at Cobb Corner, there is NEVER a problem with our order!

If delivery was better I would enjoy it more. The worry about it being delivered, makes it not enjoyable. Three times they could not find my house. Something wrong with their GPS system. I live three streets up from the store and they still get lost, I could walk to store and carry the pizza home and it would still be warm, but after an hour I call and they say it’s on the way. We call on a weekday night, so It’s not busy, so what’s up! Still love the pizza, and the PAPABURGERYUM!
