History

Established in 2005.

We’ve been locking and unlocking Southern Wisconsin since 2005. However, we’ll go as far as you pay us to go. So far, our furthest job has been in Montana.

When you look at the heart of Locks and Unlocks, we’re essentially in the business of helping people; we just happen to know a lot about locks, keys, and safes.

Business Owner

Hi, my name is Jake Matteson. I am a professional locksmith. That means I find solutions to help people secure their homes, businesses, and personal properties. My wife, Lorelei, and I started Locks and Unlocks, Inc. in 2005 with the desire to provide a service to people in need. Prior to the inception of our business, I had the privilege of learning my trade through 5 years of hands on experience with an established and well respected locksmith company.

Through study and examinations, I have earned the designations of ‘Certified Professional Locksmith’ and ‘Certified Master Safecracker’. I am passionate about my job and love helping people out of sticky situations and also preventing them if possible.
