History
Established in 2008.
This business, started by John, and his son, Philip Kidd, began in John’s trunk as he went back and forth to various estate sales in Sussex and Greensville Counties. John would sell the items from the trunk of his car, then pickup truck while performing his regular duties as butcher in his family owned independent grocery store, Jones & Co, located on Main St. in Stony Creek. Finally, an opportunity became available where John was able to procure the very building his grandfather once owned, the Rose Oil Co. building, and Meet Me at the Creek Antiques was born.
