Had my nails done at this place last tuesday and my gel nail paint has already started chipping. usually my mani last me 3 weeks but feels like i was rushed through this one. probably the first and last time at this place.

The nail salon is very clean and all the workers were very friendly and welcoming. I decided to get the lavender pedicure and the service was above and beyond what I expected. From the hot towel wash, pedicure, to the hot stone massage the overall visit was so relaxing I can’t wait to try it again when I’m in the area!

People in this place are so rude. I walk in and ask how much is a manicure. First they ignore the question and tell me to choose a color. I ask again and i get 2 different answers from two different people who work there. Then then say ok manicure pedicure same color? No I said just manicure and I get looked at like I have 2 heads. Then they say $ 15 minimum on credit card. But no I don’t have cash on me. Again I get looked at like I am crazy. I HATE places that are so pushy.

The vitamin foot treatment that I had was very relaxing. Also, I like this place because the place was very sterile. All the tools were disposable, so I didn’t have to worry about contagion. I will come back soon !!

Made an appointment for Saturday morning here, though I probably didn’t need to. All the walk-​ins were given attention immediately. Service here is lightning quick! I was in and out in 30 minutes.
I had a gel polish manicure done here for $ 30, pretty fair pricing. The nail techs here seem to vary widely on practice. Many of the females had on aprons or uniforms with name badges but none of the males did. Some techs had gloves on, some didn’t. I don’t know it was a bit odd. My tech barely spoke a single word to me the entire duration of my mani!
In general though, the place was clean, did not smell heavily at all of chemicals, and equipment looks to be in decent shape. Not the nicest nail salon I’ve ever been to but definitely not in bad shape.
You do get a nice little hand massage with after your mani which feels pretty nice.
I didn’t notice at the time, but my nail tech missed a spot on the bottom of my thumb nail, so I gotta knock a star down for that for sure. Would prefer a tech that is more meticulous. The rest of my nails look nice though. Only time will tell if this gel mani will actually hold up!

I do not write reviews unless if it is Awesome or if it really SUCKS. This place rocks. The cleanness, the foot massage with pedicure, and the price made me a one happy person. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

I do not normally write reviews, I usually use Unilocal to search them and keep to myself. Although I find it only fair to give praise to a salon that does so much. I walk in, mostly everyone greets me by my first name, if they are busy like they usually are they do whatever they can to make my wait comfortable. Not that I’ve ever waited longer than five minutes. The staff is so personable and friendly. They are also extremely skilled, my nails always look and feel beautiful after I’ve left Grace nails. The manager Kathy is the go to woman for any issues, they never fall short of taking care of their customers. Thank you Grace nails for what you do !

Had my nails done there last Tuesday and asked for someone who specializes in gels because I had previously had them done there and they peeled off within a week. She sat me down with someone and within 15 minutes I was out of the place with my gel manicure. Usually it takes 45 minutes for a gel manicure but he was in a rush and just threw some nail polish on my nails and called it a day. For the amount they charge for gels a lot more should be included. I already saw spots on the nail that I knew were going to peel within the next few days. By Friday two nails peeled off and more were starting too. It’s now Sunday (not even a week after the manicure) and all but three nails are peeled off. This could be a result off not buffing the nail oil off before like a gel manicure requires or not using a base coat or anything beneath the gel. Definitely upset with the service I received will not be going back. The only plus side of this salon and reason it gets two stars not one, is that they use clean, sterile and new equipment.

I stopped in here on a whim after shopping at Whole Foods. I desperately needed a gel manicure and my regular gal was not available for an appointment on my only day off that week. I’m so glad that I stopped in here because they are excellent! The décor is super modern, clean, and the staff are friendly. Kathy, the manager, did my gel manicure. She spoke great English, was fast, meticulous, and her attention to detail was unremarkable! I’m definitely a fan of this spot and look forward to trying their other services when I am in the area.

This was my first visit to Grace’s and the moment I walked in, two really cheerful ladies greeted me and sat me down without any wait, which was nice. The salon is clean and they use new nail tools for each customer (nail file, buffer, etc). I got a manicure for $ 10 but ended up paying $ 15 because they charged me $ 5 to remove my old gel polish, which was fine because removing the color was tedious and honestly took a while and a bit of effort. Overall, I love how my nails came out and the girl who worked on them was very thorough! I’ll definitely come back again in the future, especially because of how affordable they are.

What a fantastic nail salon! My fingers look so puuuurty. Service is over the top — without any pushy up-​selling — within a clean, brightly lit spot. A wonderful woman greeted me, a role she was 100% dedicated to, to understand my beauty needs. It was delightful to be updated as I waited. Nail color options range the entire spectrum of light. (I’m serious. Any color you want, you can have it.)
I’d drive here in a second over anywhere else. The folks working here are beyond cute, smiling and giggling over life. This is a happy place. Open 7 days a week, Stony Brook has a treasure.

So, here’s the biggest tip. Ask for Peter. I was wary to have a dude. But this guy has mad skill. (My nails look completely real. You’d never know mother nature wasn’t involved.) Be warned he’s off on Sunday!

I love that they offer packages that bring prices down. Group a mani, pedi, massage and facial for $ 100(!) Options abound.
As you can tell I *love* this place. Be sure to bring cash for tips. (If you forgot though, there’s an ATM in the salon :)

The three stars are for the selection of nail polish and cleanliness of this salon.
I was unhappy when i left after my manicure. It was my first time here and most likely will be my last. No signs anywhere that say there’s a 15 $ CC minimum. You have to spread your hands out in order for the sensor dryers to turn on. My back was aching after drying my nails. There where about 7 people that were just standing around and talking no massage while i was drying no touching of my back or shoulders. $ 10 for Mani is fair but expensive for the job i got. One of my nails smudged and she fixed it but a few hours later somehow messed up? She did the old cheap fix it trick by adding more polish instead of just doing the nail over. The best part was after i was drying for under ten minutes Sue (who did my Mani) was standing at the door and said «oh your still here?» yes im still here, but i wont be back again.
I recommend this place if your looking for a quick mani, don’t expect to be pampered.

My first impression of this salon was very clean and beautiful. The luxurious environment makes you feel relaxed and the friendly staff makes you feel to stay even longer for more services. Pedicure service was awesome and the massage was not bad at all. I definitely will recommend this place to my other friends and will come back with my wife again for more great experience.

I would recommend Grace Nail to anyone looking for a beautiful mani pedi and excellent service! I have been getting mani pedis in this area for over 20 years, and I can honestly say that a Grace Nail is the cleanest, nicest, most competitive salon around. The owner uses high quality salon products and new technology for different aspects of the salon. I get a quick email to remind me of my appointment, and I use a simple card to keep track of my reward points. Kathy does an EXCELLENT job on my nails each week, usually forever french, and I actually get unsolicited compliments on them. She’s a sweetheart and I love chatting with her… Such an nice experience each time.

Thought it felt like a great pedicure but they painted my cuticles along with my nails. 2 separate people actually ask me if a kid painted my nails because they did such a bad job.

I think I’m forever tainted now and this may very well be my new spot for a pedicure.
My mom and I came here because we needed pedicures and we were both busy on Saturday so we weren’t able to hit up our usual place.
Let me tell you something these 5 star reviews are legit! We walked in with a little trepidation because it’s a new place for us. It’s extremely bright in the shop and extremely clean from what we can immediately tell. We were also greeted right away and all of the employees we encountered were very friendly and welcoming.
After waiting for a couple of minutes they were ready for us. We saw both tubs get washed and then a plastic liner go in each. Even more sterile! NICE! Everything is brand new. New file new buffer new thing to scrub your feet. Baby I’m in pedicure heaven. This place is looking cleaner and cleaner by the minute.
Both of our girls talked to us briefly but were talking amongst themselves. We both didn’t mind because we’re there to relax and enjoy our pedis.
The other plus to this place is they are open on Sunday! So even more awesomeness!
Another thing I’m looking forward to is stopping at Starbucks and getting my fix then coming here for a pedi.
Will we back? You betcha. Priced reasonably and we weren’t rushed.
PS — Be warned your GPS may tell you to get on to Stony Brook Road. You can just make a U-​Turn at the light if you’re coming from 347 or if you make the left on to Stony Brook Road make a left into the Duane Reade parking lot.

Best nail salon on Long Island! I travel from the east end just to come here specifically because they are that good! All the staff are excellent! Lina is my fav! I highly recommend this nail salon. I have referred all my friends and family and we refuse to go anywhere else! Love them!

I usually come here to get my nails done by Kathy. She is always worth the wait! Not only does she do an amazing job on my nails, but she always suggests a good nail color for me!
On a side note, I also am really happy about the fact that they use plastic liners for the spa pedicures! Cleanliness is key! I have been and always leave as a satisfied customer!
Gina did my spa pedi and was very detail oriented and thorough! I could tell she took her time!
Also, excellent nail polish selection, they have practically every color under the sun!

I have been here numerous times and it’s always a pleasure to see the bright and friendly staff. They also made lots of renovations to the store recently and it is a huge upgrade. Highly recommend this place for great service and a job well done!

The lavender pedicure treatment is an absolute must! My feet felt like they were walking on pillows by the time they were done. The pedicure itself was done perfectly and the massage was unbelievable. The wrap and hot stones just took it to another level. By far one of the most pleasant and relaxing experiences of my life.
A clean and well maintained gem. Can’t wait to return the next time I’m in the area!
