Cassie is a thoughtful and experienced therapist. I stumbled upon The Way through Groupon which can be «hit or miss» but I am now a regular! A lovely, zen space too & my body has never felt better.

Michael at The Way will melt your cares away!!! He has a kind and gentle nature which puts me at ease. Trained in many different modalities, he is intuitive and sensitive to the specific needs of his clients. I have been to several different therapists over the years, but Michael is by far my number one pick out of all the talented professionals I have worked with. I suffer from many chronic issues, including low back pain, tendonitis, jaw tension and upper back/​neck issues. He is thorough in his treatment and will always cater to what is ailing me on that particular day. My fiancé suffers from major chronic neck pain due to a car accident and requires a lot of deep pressure to find relief. Michael has worked on him as well and he raves about the difference it has made in his neck pain! If you are looking for pure bliss and relief from all your woes, Michael is your man!

I started seeing Michael almost a year ago when I was having pretty bad shoulder and upper back pain. I thought I’d just go for one visit to get the pain under control and tolerable, but I was so impressed that I’ve been seeing him about once a month ever since then. Michael seems very intuitive at figuring out just the right amount of pressure to use so that I’m not in pain and tightening up, but also still getting a therapeutic benefit. In addition to being a great masseuse, he’s a really nice guy with a calming demeanor, which helps me relax and unwind. The massage studio is really cozy and comfortable, which makes for an overall great experience.

I found Michael at The Way a year ago when looking for a massage therapist to help with an old injury. He has worked miracles with the injured area and has helped tremendously with other areas, too! His friendly demeanor quickly puts you at ease; the space makes you quite comfortable.

I been seeing Michael at The Way for massage for several months now. The last few years have been very stressfully was for me, and my husband urged me to give massage a try as part of a broader effort to live better – better diet, more exercise, etc. calm, friendly manner really put me at ease. I was nervous, as I am somewhat uncomfortable with new people and had never had massage before. But Michael quickly put me at ease.

Fabulous!!! Beautiful, tranquil facility. Very comfortable table. Michael gave me my massage today. He was amazing! He applied a lot of pressure (and asked me if it was alright throughout the massage). His technique was wonderful! Seriously, one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Cassie is amazing! I’ve been to a lot of massage therapists and Cassie is by far the best! First of all, I simply love being there — the room is so comfortable and relaxing. Besides that, Cassie is very good at what she does. Being a chiropractor, I’m aware of my body and what muscles need the most work and she finds them before I even say anything. I highly recommend her!

What a wonderful place! Easy to get to find & easy to park! It’s lovingly decorated and the candles all smell amazing! They’ve also thought about a lot of small details, like fresh, cold water at the end of the massage and toiletries in the massage rooms and in the bathroom.
YES, the beds are heated and YES, it’s awesome! Trust me, once you’ve experienced this, anything less is a BIG disappointment.
Cassie is a really skilled MT. She’s very knowledgeable about her craft– asks good questions, makes suggestions and very clearly has years of experience. She’s also passionate about what she does. You can tell how much she genuinely cares about her clients and how dedicated she is to making people feel better.
She practically saved me a world of pain after my first Spartan Race (OCR). 24 obstacles and 3 miles later– I knew I’d be a wreck! Cassie worked her schedule to get me in after the race. Again, HUGE bonus points for working around my tricky schedule! During the hour long massage, Cassie picked up every sore spot, tight muscle and knot in my body and worked them out. It was heaven! I felt 100 times better than when I hobbled in there. The proof was the next day when my race buddies called to tell me how bad they hurt and I was feeling fine! This is a total game changer, folks!

Cassie is the BEST!!! She is so sweet and down to earth, with such a warm and welcoming personality. She’s very knowledgable and great at what she does. The cozy massage studio had 2 impeccable and inviting rooms for massages, and you can even bring your own music if you prefer, although they offer a variety of soothing sounds to enjoy while you relax. Cassie is very attentive and always takes some time prior to the start of your appointment to go over any concerns or issues you’re having. I LOVE this place so much that I’d go everyday if I could! A few months back I threw out my neck most likely due to long hours hunched over my desk. A simple reach to get something was the final straw that sent my neck over the edge. I was suddenly in so much pain.
It happened on the train and I was in such visible anguish that a seated woman got up to give me her seat during rush hour in a train packed like a sardine can.
I went to see Tanja and her magic fingers made it all better in just one visit. I felt better than I can remember feeling in a long time.
I’ve recommended Tanja and The Way to others most notably my husband who previously was not comfortable getting a massage, in spite of how much he might have needed one.
He recently threw out his neck as well also probably related to stress and long hours. He’d messed up his neck before but refused to see any one about it. He just struggled through it.
This time it was so much worse. He was really suffering. He had seen how quickly Tanja fixed me and I was finally able to convince him to get over his massage reluctance.
Again Tanja worked her magic and he was 100% better in just one session. I was really impressed with how at ease she made him before the session even started, not an easy feat with my husband. He said after that he couldn’t believe he didn’t come sooner and that he felt like he was in heaven.

I recently took a fall down some stairs, and although thankfully I didn’t break anything, I’ve been having problems with my back ever since. My back sort of felt like there was a Charlie horse that wouldn’t go away.
I recently started seeing Tanja at The Way Massage and my back has been getting better! She’s been great and really helpful. When I first went into the reception area it was relaxing and comfortable, and I was greeted with some really delicious strawberry infused water while I explained my situation. The massage was great, relaxing, and Tanja was really able to work out some of the knots and other tense points that had built up as a result of my fall. She was very attentive to the areas I was having pain, as well as my overall comfort during the entire experience. She also gave me some good stretches to use daily, which have actually been helping.
I definitely plan on going back more regularly now, and would recommend The Way to anyone.

Cassie is fabulous! I have been getting massages for several years and mine retired. I have tried a few since and have just not been satisfied, until Cassie. She takes the time to listen to you, and accomodate your request. The premises are very nice as well. I am now a regular and attend bi-​weekly for a 90 min massage and a ½ hr. foot massage… this is what I call heaven!

First, the atmosphere is relaxing and Cassie helps you feel at ease and I get to hear my own music mix while relaxing. I get a deep tissue massage every other week. While I love my job it is physically taxing, and it aggravates my degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I rely on my massage from Cassie to help alleviate the pain and help me move again. I can’t thank her enough for giving me a quality massage every time and offering suggestions to maintain my mobility week to week. If you want a good massage, go to Cassie.

The Way Massage Therapy is a great addition to the Stoneham area. Set in the rear of an older house that’s been turned into several office spaces, it provides a real peaceful, relaxing environment. They have heated massage beds, a first for me and it was amazing!
The inside is designed beautifully with calm colors and warm accents. Most importantly, its quiet. They are located in the rear of the house on the ground floor, so you don’t hear many noises from other parts of the house. Everything is clean and neat. You can choose the type of music you’d like to listen to while you’re getting your massage, even bring in your own iPod if I remember correctly.
My massage was with Cassie and it was great. I had a 60 minutes of her working out the knots in my upper back and hamstrings and I felt great afterwards. She’s thorough in her technique and asked enough questions to be familiar with any injuries or issues I needed work on. She knew how to handle my bad knees and back issues. I left feeling awesome.
I plan on going back regularly. I’ve also met her business partner, Tanya and she’s just as wonderful. You can’t go wrong making an appointment with either of them.
