My first time at this salon and I am more than pleased. I have been asking various hairdressers for platinum highlights for my short brown hair and they always stop at blonde and I end up not getting what I wanted. Not with Nicole… I got exactly what I wanted along with a great cut and one of the best shampoos ever! My hair is shiny now with beautiful platinum highlights. just like I wanted. Nicole took the time to listen. I also observed other stylists cut and color and I must say I was very impressed. Everyone definitely looked better leaving than when they arrived… what more could you ask for? I am more than pleased and will return. Thank you Thank you!

I have been going to Nicole’s for quite some time now. I was completely surprised to see some of the low ratings listed below. After venturing out to find a more convenient hair salon while away at college, I could not wait to get my butt back to Nicole’s! The salon is clean and professionally staffed with cool/chill people who know how to treat their customers. The stylists all work well as a team by consulting one another on what is best for their client’s hair. My stylist, Amy, is amazing! She never over cuts, makes sure my color is exactly what I want, and if i want to try something new she and the entire friendly staff will express their honest options. If you want an updo for a prom, wedding, etc. Nicole is the best around. She works magic with her fingers. I always received multiple compliments on my updos from Nicole. I have referred so many people to Nicole’s salon(always receiving positive feedback) that I can hardly ever visit the salon without seeing someone I know. The family-type atmosphere Nicole’s staff portrays is always welcoming and warm. It makes the experience that much better. If I was born with polydactylism, I would give them 3 thumbs up!

This salon is classic. It’s immaculate, the staff is very friendly and accommodating and over all a nice salon experience. For went here 10 yrs. ago to have my updo trial and actual for my wedding on the reference of a friend/family member of mine and the owner. I was elated as to how my hair came out as well as that of my MOH and my mum. I recently went back for another updo and hair repair ~ and I have nothing but compliments once again, which doesn’t surprise me at all! I only gave 4 stars as I’ve yet to experience the spa part of the salon. I’ll update when I try it out. You won’t be disappointed. As any salon, Saturdays are high traffic times, so if you are in a rush, I recommend, anywhere, setting your appointment up in the am. Additionally we are coming into prom and wedding season, be mindful that the potential for delays is common anywhere under these circumstances. Fabulous all in all!

I have been going to Nicole’s for a while now and the staff is very friendly and the salon is always clean. I only get a basic guy hair cut short on the sides and neatly kept on top, nothing fancy but every time I go in they are consistent with seeing if I want my hair washed, then cut. I recommend Nicole’s even to guys. Also while you wait they have coffee and cookies… I’m a sucker for munches. Some of the other reviews are older and where under different managenment, so take that into consideration how old the reviews are.

I had my hair done last night. I was a little nervous because I booked the appointment before reading the reviews posted here. I had a cut and color and was in and out of the salon in 1 ½ hours. Which is wonderful! It was very efficient not a lot of wasted down time others have reported. I’m pleased with both the color and the cut. The staff was friendly. Clientele was mixed, men, women and kids. I received a 20% discount as a first time customer.(nice and unexpected !) I would go back.

I love Nicole’s and the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I only ever see one stylist, she is my favorite and she is TOTALLY the best. If you go here, ask for Amy Lynn and tell her Jaime sent you, she might take a little longer than your usual stylist but she is WELL worth it. I used to not care too much about my hair, I would get it cut once every six months or so but since going to Amy, my hair looks fantastic, I get compliments on it ALL the time and I can’t wait until my next haircut!

I would consider myself a hair-whore, going to wherever because I was a lost soul finding a hairdresser. I had one for a while, then I had a friend in hair school and was helping her out while she was doing my hair for next to nothing, then I found another place and then roamed around after that for a while but I really believe that I have found my new salon. I’ve been to Nicole’s three or four times for my hair so far and I’ve seen two different stylists. I really enjoy the staff here; they’re so warm and personable that even if you don’t know them you feel like you have known them for a while. That is how it should be at a salon, you shouldn’t feel awkward going in and sitting down for an hour or more depending. The owner is wicked friendly and she runs a great salon. There are so many services offered its ridiculous and the prices are fair in my opinion. The salon is nicely decorated and the layout is nice. I’ve been here for a massage and waxing before as well. The massage room is a decent size, I had one done a while back and it was very good. Where they do nails is a nice little area and the waxing and facial room is bright and clean. The location is great, right in the square and I never have trouble finding parking. There are a few small lots and also street parking so it shouldn’t’ be a problem to find a spot. It is busy on the weekends and at night, so call ahead to make an appointment. It’s too bad that other people haven’t had the great experiences I’ve had here but I hope they’ll give Nicole’s another shot.

Nicole has been cutting my hair for 10 years and now my 11 year old daughter goes to her as well. My daughter donated her hair recently and in the process got a new cute hairstyle. Nicole recreated a style from a photo my daughter brought in and she received so many compliments. With my haircuts I tend to just describe what I am looking for(sometimes even being a bit vague!) and Nicole has always done a fantastic job giving me the look I want. Over the years I have gone super short, long, and everything in between and have never been disappointed. There have been times when I haven’t been able to get back to the salon to keep up with my original style but it hasn’t mattered, I still get asked if I’ve just had a cut! Even grown out my hair looks great with the way Nicole cuts it. Like my daughter I always get compliments on my cut and hairstyle. The salon is always bustling and full of high energy and everyone is super friendly. The girls are professional and up with the latest styles, trends, and techniques which is evident when you walk into the salon. They are always helpful and try to accommodate me when I call looking for a last minute appointment(which I admit I do more often than one should!). Thanks Nicole!

Awww… I’m sad to see Nicole’s has such a low overall rating. I actually think it’s pretty great and go there reguarly to have my hair cut and colored, get facials and waxes. All of the girls are really nice and they are all very talented at what they do. They definitely have a lot of regulars. The main drawback with Nicole’s is that they do often tend to run late(but personally I don’t think that’s so terrible because you know when it’s your turn, they’ll give you 100% of their attention), but they usually try to call and let you know if they are running late so you can come in later. The weekends are often super busy, but usually they have something cool going on to make up for it. I’ve gotten a free manicure and a free skin care analysis while I’ve waiting for my appointment. They are a bit expensive, but the quality of services is great and honestly, they’re pretty comprable to other salons and spas in the area. I think if you give them a chance, you won’t be disappointed!

Nicole’s is great! All the girls are super friendly, and all do a great job. I found this salon by accident, and have continued to go for the last year. I finally found a hairdresser that does wonders on my hair. :) Oh and the girls are all super hot– just sayin!

I’ll start off by saying, in all fairness, that I did get a good facial that left my skin feeling really nice. That was the only positive part of my experience here. When I originally went in, I asked for the most basic facial on their menu, as I was really, really low on money and just wanted some quick pampering. Their answer was that there’s an age limit on the most basic package? There was nothing about this on the menu.(The age limit was apparently 17, and at the time I was 19.) I told them nicely that this was sort of ridiculous and, honestly, this facial was the only one I could afford, so if they could just let it slide. They told me to go sit down and conferred with each other and finally one came over and very condescendingly told me that because of my ‘situation’ they would let it go this once but ‘never again.’ They made it sound like I was some kind of charity case.(The facial was still around $ 70, jeez!) When the woman finally took me into back room, she did a ‘consultation’ whereby she asked me about my lifestyle and skin cleansing habits. She spent the whole time just shaking her head and taking notes like a frustrated therapist. I take good care of my skin, too… I don’t know what she was so upset about. When it finally came down to the facial, the woman made a point of telling me how frustrating it was to work with my skin, sighing loudly and shaking her head, saying how much ‘extra work’ she was going to have to do because of my ‘bad habits.’ Again, my skin seriously is not that bad, just a little dry… and even if it were a horrible mess, I was paying for her to fix it, not to complain about what an inconvenience it was for her to do her job! The facial was fine but the attitudes were outrageous. I went for a relaxing experience and felt insulted the entire time. You’re not gonna win customers back by telling them how ugly their skin is, and how sorry you feel for their financial situation.(Poor me, can’t afford the mandatory $ 100 facial! How do I EAT?!)

So far I have only gone here to get my hair trimmed. As I just moved around the corner. I called on a thursday night just before 6pm and got an appointment for 6:30. I checked in, and I ended up waiting until just after 7pm where I then went up and said I would come back another time as no one had come over to me to say sorry this appointment is running a little over, we can get you started in a few minutes. I then made an appointment for the following friday. When I went back I was taken right back to the shampoo station. Once I was out of there I did have to wait about 15 minutes as the previous appointment ran late. Because of the two delay’s i was given a discount on my haircut! They also offer this loyalty card, where your six haircut is free! Nicole’s is always bumping with people… men and women! I would like to try some of their day spa services soon! The salon was very clean nicely decorated and very friendly. I would recommend nicoles, but know that you have to always wait. Update 4÷8÷08 I had my nails done here recently with Sonika, I love her. She was super nice and did a great job!
