History

Established in 2015.

I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. Since the first day my parents bought me a Kodak Instamatic 110 film camera in the 1980’s, I have been hooked on the photographic image. After many years in the corporate world and a few in the restaurant industry, I decided in 2015 to pursue my passion for photography, full time. It was the best decision I could have made. Since establishing the business, I have shot for large companies like HelloFresh, upcoming actors, Amazon sellers, Realtors, and even the largest rental agency in Nantucket, MA.

My experience is extremely broad: From graphic design and copy writing, to commercial lending, real estate, and even food, I seem to have done almost everything before I took the plunge and opened JS O’Connor Photography. Much of my work is done either on site at clients’ locations or in my home studio which has become my favorite room in my house. When I’m not shooting for business, I like to ski and spend time with my wife, and of course, my dog, Laika.
