Dr. Patel is one of the best and nicest doctors I’ve found. He takes the time to ask enough questions to be precise in his diagnosis, but rather than feeling like an interrogation you can see that he truly cares about your well being. This is excellent individual care, no assembly line style tactics. I highly recommend that you make Dr. Patel your choice.

My doctor broke my heart when she moved to Pakistan, so when I awoke with a sore throat so bad it felt like I’d gargled fiberglass, I decided to grovel and beg for antibiotics at the place that could see me the quickest. Dr. Patel just started this practice and can get you in right away. He’s maybe 30 at the most, has great personality and is a wonderful listener. Throat cultures shouldn’t be enjoyable, but at least I didn’t walk away feeling any worse, which has happened in the past. He seems quite sure with his hands and exam technique. I think he might have some fantastic gadgets in the way of phones/PDAs, because when he took my temperature he held some gizmo I’ve never seen in my life up to my forehead. I felt like I was in a Star Trek episode. If you go, look for the building marked«Jay’s Pharmacy & Liquor Store» or something like that. It also has a «Medical Center» sign, which I missed the first time I drove by. Sure enough, the office is in the back of a store. It’s a new building, so the medical offices are shiny and new, impeccably clean, everything you want. There’s a pharmacy in the store as well, so I got my drugs immediately upon leaving. In total, I was there for about 15 minutes. So, I found a new physician — nice to have that off my checklist of things to do.
