this is a re-​po shop. their «body shop» is a stall out front. they had 5 massive dudes guarding the front door. the «office» consists of plastic furniture & Ramon speaks over potential customers during negotiations.

run away!!! honestly don’t even step foot in this place. these guys are just buying garbage cars and patching them up so they look semi presentable. No one should do any sort OF BUSINESS with them. yeah maybe the carfax is clean, but thats does not mean that the car hasn’t been wrecked and put back together in a sleazy way. i was about to buy a car from them, but i get it checked out by a mechanic who informed me that it has most likely been in an accident, has alot of rust on the underside, has different tread ware on all for tires (which basically means he went to a shady tire store in the bad part of the neighborhood and got all four tires for $ 29.99). if you read the other Unilocal review of where the salesman got into a fight with the buyer; that statement is very true. those guys are pretty much all the bad words i cant write on here.

I was a first time car buyer, and like most, ran into their online ad for Nissan. In a time crunch to get rid of my rental, I did the best I cold searching for a car on my own. I loved the car I tried out but went with another color since that car was dented and scratched on the side and hey did not want to lower the price. Once I finally sold on the car I currently have, I found other issues with it, which of course are now my issues. My front speakers need to be replaced, my car needed a major alignment and it took about a month to get the tire pressure light to go off. Aside of that, I was blessed to have a car. I was drawn to a slot by FOX5 that local car dealerships are Not supposed to charge fees outside of the advertised fees, tax tag and title. Many use a «doc prep fee», «admin fee’, etc to make up for adjusted prices but in essence, these fees are not supposed to be charged, period. Most dealers tac on a $ 300 – 500 fee but Southern Auto charged me an extra $ 1000 as a «doc prep fee». I know their labor of clicking a few buttons to release info to the bank was not worth $ 1000. I submitted a complaint to consumer reporting and they were willing to refund me the illegal fee but priority mailed it to me and now it «lost». They stated they did their portion, yet I still have no refund and they refuse to recut the check. To be short, they still got over $ 1000. DONT BE SWINDLED, DONT GET CHARGED EXTRA and if you have, submit a quick report to the consumer reporting agency to help you get it back. Its illegal! I’m so disappointed that they took advantage of me and refuse to make sure I was compensated for what is mine. The wont even give me the owner’s name to follow up on getting my money back. hmph!

Called an hour ahead to make sure the car I wanted to look at hadn’t been sold yet. When I arrive, this place looks really sketchy. The lot is not very big and it is crammed full of used cars they are trying to sell. To the point that the salesman tells me to park in the ADA spot. I tell him I had called ahead about a specific vehicle. The man replies that the vehicle had already been sold and asks if I want to look at some other vehicles they have. I find it hard to believe that they sold a car I called about in an hour. It was midday on a weekday and not very busy. I confirm with him that the number I dialed earlier is correct. He claims that no one working that morning would tell me that the car I am looking for is still there. Now a week later, the car I wanted to look at is STILL listed on their website.
These guys give small dealers a bad name with their sleazy and underhanded tactics. I’ve learned my lesson the hard way to always get names of people that I speak with. And please don’t give people like this any car business. The epitome of bait and switch. Judging by the size of their lot, there is no way even half the cars listed in the inventory of their website would even fit at their location. Don’t know where the remaining cars are but they’re definitely not at this dealer.
