Valley First Credit Union

I like the experience, it customer service friendly and short lines, I like it, it’s way better than the main big banks for the U.S. It a great local bank. And great credit union.

Valley First Credit Union is the best bank I’ve used. I’ve tried the three major banks and I give VFCU 5 stars hands down. The tellers are genuinely warm and Friendly. There’s never a long wait. I started banking with VFCU in Modesto back in 1992. I kept my account when I moved to Stockton. I was extatic when they opened the branch in Stockton. I’ve financed two cars, had credit cards and loans through VFCU and have always gotten great rates. Their services are top notch but it’s the warm and friendly staff that really make me feel like this is my home bank.

I thought this bank was cool at first since there was hardly anyone in line, and so I was always the next one up, pretty awesome right? And small cozy environment. Yet, I was adding change into a coin machine they have there once and a banker lady passed by me and looked at me awkwardly, I gave her a quick glance back, and she exchanged a fake smile to kill the odd moment: /​. There credit card process is also extremely long and annoying, I wanted to get a visa since I banked there, and even though I was already qualified, they kept wanting me to come in with all kinds of paper work. I started feeling discriminated against or something, I don’t know what else to call it, but I’m sure it wasn’t that, hopefully. They just always wanted me to come into the branch for random reasons. I guess they just get bored doing nothing all day since they seem to have low clientele. I started hating this bank, so I left.
