Established in 1976.

We are a little different than the average chiropractic office. You will not have any hard sale tactics used to try to convince you to come in for unnecessary care or for extended months/​years of unending care. Unfortunately, some chiropractors want their patients to get regular treatments for years at 1 time per week or 3 times per week, even when the patient has no symptoms. We don’t believe in this!

Dr Don Smallie is a nice guy with great chiropractic skills, knowledge and experience. His receptionist is always nice polite and friendly too. This place will go out of their way to allow you to make appointments on a few hours notice, which can be a life saving effort if you have a bad spasm. Dr. Smallie uses a combination of manual manipulation the clicker thingy, and a laser that’s supposed to help break up inflammation. The best part is he won’t put you on some type of schedule, if you have an issue you come in Dr Smallie takes care of it (usually in about 3 visits for me) and then you call him if and when you have another issue.

I’ve been going to Smallie Chiropractic since it was located in Lincoln Center and Dr. Paul Smallie was practicing. Dr. Don Smallie continues his dad’s extremely high quality of Chiropractic care with integrity and caring. He also remains current through continuous professional development, always perfecting his craft. Highly recommended!

Dr. Smallie and his office staff are fantastic… very knowledgeable, helpful and genuine care. Chiropractic treatment is greatly underrated; it really can make major progress in pain management and/​or act as solid support many other treatments for chronic conditions. I have been so satisfied with my care there that I continue to get treatment at Smallie Chiropractic even though I moved hours away from Stockton. I highly recommend this office for quality care; I agree with the other 5 star reviewer as well, Dr. Smallie doesn’t over-​do it and push things on you, nor does he push you around when it comes to follow-​ups or schedule changes. Instead they allow you to have more control in your own medical care while still being thorough and effective; they achieve this by working with you and treating you well, not like a number on a file folder or a name on a billing statement.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Smallie for years now, off and on when we have sporadic pains of any sort. We rarely have to make more than a couple visits, most of our problems being resolved in one visit. I appreciate his down to earth manner, and his motto «if it ain’t broke don’t fix it». I hate knowing so many people go to chiropractors who insist they make multiple visits as standard follow up when there aren’t any symptoms. Dr. Smallie will make follow up appointments to continue treatment only if necessary and he and his staff don’t get bent out of shape when you call to cancel the follow up because the pain is gone. I like that he does the job quick, and well. He is readily available if there is an urgent need to see him, which is outstanding service in my opinion. I once had a bad sprain in my wrist which I wasn’t sure how I got, but it was intolerable to put any weight on my wrist, Dr. Smallie was working late in Lodi and was willing to take me last minute to make an adjustment where he could, and it was amazing how it helped! Dr. Smallie has been doing this for years, and just knows what needs to be done. I’ve never had an issue with Dr. Smallie and highly recommend him to anyone I think he might be able to help. I’d add more stars if I could.

I went in for a recent injury, having never been to a chiropractor before. Dr. Smallie had a friendly, encouraging demeanor, but he didn’t seem interested in listening to my family history or anything of the like. The procedure felt rushed… I spent more time filling out paperwork in the lobby than in the backroom being ‘tweaked’. Overall I did leave feeling slightly more mobile than I came in, but was still experiencing the symptoms I came in for. I was given a couple ‘suggestion’ handouts in lieu of dialogue and was quickly penciled in for a follow-​up that I will be cancelling. If you’re looking for a ‘bone-​cracker’, he’s effective at that, but he didn’t suit my particular needs.
