I was going g to have cortisone shots for my back. I have bulging disc and the nerve root is being pinched by them. I no longer have to do that. After my first week my back has stopped hurting and the pains shooting down both legs have stopped. Not only that many other issues I have, Dat took care of. I highly recommended to see him.

I would highly recommend Serendipity Clinic! Dr. On and Qigong Kin have been very helpful in helping me restore the balance of my life. I have been suffering from horrible menstrual pain. I had to take pain killers consistently to get rid of the pain. I came to the clinic for some solutions. Dr. On and Qigong Kin carefully analyzed the origin of my pain, provided treatment, and also provided tools for my self-​care treatment outside of the clinic. The staff are patient, caring, and most importantly, compassionate. They truly care about my recovery and list that as their priority. They are knowledgeable and professional. I am thankful for all their services!

My healing journey has been long and arduous but, I believe it would not have been possible if it weren’t for Karma’s divine plan which led me to Dat’s place of practice. When I first met with Dr. On I had a lot of chatter in my head. We engaged in a Spiritual Healing and within a few moments of just sitting with him I was overwhelmed with emotions. When I was first treated by Dr. On I was impressed by his ability to perceive problem areas in my body. I decided that he would be my acupuncturist from then on.
I have studied certain aspects of natural healing and energy and spirituality, of our mind-​body-​spirit nature fairly deeply, as well as right and wrong approaches to healing, and I’ve been amazed and delighted to find that he knows virtually everything I know and, with his training and experience and being a professional, he of course knows a lot more. I trust him with my health issues.
I attended the grand opening of Dr. On’s clinic and later his ribbon-​cutting ceremony this year, 2015, and in addition to his healing work he immediately turned his clinic into a learning center where patients and students can learn to assist in their own health and the health of others as well as help directly from him.
In addition to Dr. On’s medical knowledge I find him also to be highly intuitive which I consider to be essential in treating and promoting the health of his patients… and students.
A few days ago I experienced some heart pain and I tried a healing technique he taught me and the pain vanished instantly.

I met Dat through a very dear friend of mine, Jessica. The first time I saw him, I was very impressed about his presence and the peace that emanates all around him. I went to few of his classes and I learned so much about healing. At the last class I was experiencing a lot pain in my right should, neck and base of my scalp. The pain level was 8 out of 10. The quality of pain was very deep nagging pain. I normally don’t get on the list to receive healing but this time it was too painful. After Dat worked on my shoulder my pain level reduced to 0.5 of 10. Next morning the pain was completely gone. You can imagine how happy I was! I immediately communicated with him that is all gone and I am so happy! I will go to him for every serious issue I have. And I will send my clients as well.

***Well actually here is an edited copy of a previous review I wrote for Dat, since he had moved from his previous work place to open his new clinic here. And by the way, this new clinic is really new, clean, spacious and beautiful.
I work in the medical field and I am a critical thinker. Well, and one with horrible yearly allergy for 9 years starting 2003. The 1^st couple of years Claritin I bought over the counter works like a charm. Then I was no longer sensitive to it and moved to Allegra D (I was so happy when it went generic!) Well in the summer of 2012 Allegra also started to lose its power on me and for about a month before acupuncture treatment (since allergy season started) I was miserable trying multiple regimens together: Claritin at night, Allegra in the morning, plus Flonase spray and intermittent Singulair without complete relief.
Well, I knew Dat On since a long time ago. When Dat was still a student he used to treat my allergy with some needles on the nose and arms before which offered some relief, but I guess since I saw him infrequently, the results was not too impressive. Well this time in 2012 I moved back to San Jose and after a few weeks sneezing and sniffling and trying to breathe through blocked nostril (s) I’ve decided to try acupuncture again. A combo of Claritin, Singulair and nasal spray will work to aleviate my symptoms but I hope to have a milder, more natural approach. This time Dat decided to needle me on the lower legs and feet and I was very ecstatically surprised at the results. After about 4 treatments I have not been taking ANY medicine and the results lasted for about 2 years! I did not need allergy medication the summer of 2013, and just this summer 2014, which has been a bad allergy season for the Stockton area, I’ve been a little bit sniffling and has only been needing Flonase spray every 3 – 4 days or so. For one who at one time could not breathe well daily and with any strong scent would sneeze loudly with itchy nose and eyes, being able to ignore what my nose is doing for all this time is heaven! I whole-​heartedly recommend Dat On and his acupuncture. I’ve heard quite a few success cases with many other conditions too but I don’t have many health problems personally.
Update ⁷⁄₂₀₁₅: this allergy season has also been extremely mild for me, did not finish 1 Nasacort spray bottle in the entire allergy season. Somehow it does have a lasting effect. And allergy season here isnStockton has been really crazy this year. Believe me, I work in a medical clinic and I know!
Give acupuncture and Dat a try if you want a non medical, non invasive approach to improving your health. I think it’s really worth your $! And for me, not having horrible seasonal allergy makes me feel like a whole new person :-)

The clinic was very clean with a spacious waiting area. The staff were very friendly. They helped answer my questions about the herbal supplements and beauty products displayed against the wall. I really enjoyed the private rooms they offered.
Dr On was very compassionate and enthusiastic about his work. He showed great knowledge and understanding towards my concerns. Unlike other doctors I had met, he took his time to explain and to make sure I understand my condition and how to resolve it. When I first came to Dr On, I had problems with acne and mild rosacea. His treatments and some herbal supplements he prescribed had improved my complexion a lot better!
