I came here today to bring my daughter to story time. It was very nice. I had no idea there was even a library out there. a nice clean library with a great selection of childrens books. Very empty. There are so many kids in that neighborhood. its a real shame more parents don’t take their children here. Staff was very friendly

The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s very neat and organized. Not a lot of people go there, don’t know why. It’s very quite.

I love this place, small but quaint. There never seems to be too many people and they have a nicely organized selection. I love how in the summer they have a program for the kids. last year we saw a magician, a bubble show, a science experiment show, an animal show including reptiles, spiders, and a kangaroo! I’m excited to see what they’ll have this year. Oh and they also have a book award in the summer for children(I think they do this at all the libraries) but after your child has finished 5 books they get a free book :) the people who work there are some of the kindest most awesome people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. And they are always happy to help you while wearing a very calming smile. hands down the very best library I’ve ever been to in Stockton

It’s such a shame that this place is out in the cuts. When I used to teach at Hamilton School, I was always coming here to pick up books I would put on reserve. And every time I’d pull up into a nearly empty parking lot & walk inside the neat, organized library, I’d have to wonder why more people weren’t in here(call me crazy, but it seems much more productive than tagging the outside of the building). If it wasn’t so far out of my way, I would definitely still be coming here.

IMO, the best branch library in Stockton that no one knows about. I found out about this diamond in the rough during my library hopping days before I purchased a laptop. Modern looking inside and out. Clean and plenty of parking. The parking situation here is easy to endure because not too many people drive out of their way to utilize this unknown treasure. Because of the lack of patrons, it is usually very quiet which every library SHOULD strive to be. The neighborhood appears to be a bit rough if one ventures to this area at night. The computers are easy to spot as they are near the door. My only gripe about this place? Its only open 2 days a week. :(
