My experience with Dr Silverton was absolutely amazing. From the start during my consultation he immediately eased all my worries answered my bazillion questions and made me feel 100% completely comfortable. When I went in for a consult for a tummy tuck, not really knowing a whole lot of what to expect, other than going by word of mouth, he pretty much answered everything before I asked. Just knowing he’s also an artist outside of his practice is an uplifting thought, you definitely see his perfectionist come out in all his work! I scheduled my surgery with him following my apt! And his office staff is awesome! From Stephanie’s warm smile and hello as you walk through the door to Marisa’s constant answering every tiny question you have no matter the time of day and always happy to, without ever being bothered! I’m only 11 day post op from my tummy tuck muscle repair and lipo and I can for sure say I made the right decision! And sure glad I did!

Dr Silverton is very experienced. I had a really good experience at his office from start to finish. Had a great lift and aug in July 2014 and nothing but positive things to say about the kindness of his staff and bed side manner of Dr Silverton. I would definitely come back

Just went in for my 2 week check up. Once again Dr Silverton was wonderful. I think what I appreciate the most is his ability to put the patient, me, :) at ease. I just recently had a tummy tuck on November 3^rd. I am so pleased, Doctor Silverton is so nice, welcoming, very experienced. My results are every thing I imagined and so much more. The staff is very nice, and they are genuinely concerned on your well-​being. Doctor Silverton is always smiling, he listens to all your concerns, never rushes to see the next patient. Seems like patients are spaced out in giving him time to actually address all concerns and questions without rushing. My recovery process is right on schedule, I’m moving around with limited pain, my scar looks amazing it’s very low, my lipo left me still looking curvy. So I definitely will be back if I ever need plastic surgery, and would refer him to friends and family members.

Ana C I am so glad you had a great experience going to dr Silverton and I really wish we all did but unfortunately that is not the case and just because your experience was far superior does not make it right for you to negate mine. I did my research and since I am not a doctor I assumed Dr silverton as a doctor and medical professional had suggested the right procedure for me and I trusted him. My breasts only looked good a few days after surgery and then it all went downhill from there I followed the aftercare to a T and didn’t do strenuous activity for the time suggested. I had an infection around my right nipple and little holes around the area where he had stitched it up. There were literally holes in my breasts leaking pus now if I spend more than 10,000 $ on a procedure I would expect it to be a little more professional. I am so embarrassed of how my body looks now due to this terribly done surgery I don’t even take my bra off anymore. It looks like there is a tight string wrapped around my breasts if I flex my chest muscles so essentially no bra is going to fix that. I have terrible scarring due to the infection on my right side. If I would have known that this would have happened I would have never even contacted dr silverton but then again I heard nothing but great things and especially from happy go lucky customers like yourself Ana C whose fortunate experience doesn’t make up for the many more that have been done incorrectly.

This is an update to my previous review.
Update From Surgery ⁰⁸⁄₂₀₁₄: I had a couple things done two weeks ago (Aug. 19, 2014). The things that were done were: Skin excision from my lower abdomen, Lipo to my back and stomach and my sides.
Outcome: I had the surgery and I kid you not the very next day I was up and walking, in no pain at all just the soreness feeling. The soreness is from the lipo and feels like you lifted a truck up off the ground! I am still swollen but I am fully able to drive, walk, shop, exercise some– not strenuous, but I can almost do anything. I feel great, just little sore on my sides. The garments really do help with swelling and staying flat. I am very… no, I am freaking ecstatic at the results! I mean seriously I had lost a lot of weight and had «back fat» like no other. Dr. Silverton even thought he would not be able to get it completely flattened on my back, but to both our surprise-​He DID! My back flattened exceptionally& healed great with no complications at all!
My stomach area where he flattened more; had a scar from the previous surgery and it was thick and I didn’t like it much but it didn’t bother me because no one sees it but my husband anyways. Well needless to say-​it was fixed with this new surgery and the scar is so thin that I am almost positive it is going to be almost to nothing once it is fully healed. He used this «mesh glue tape» stuff (I believe that is what it is ;)) and the incision is damn near healed already.
As for my sides amazing work again! He flattened my sides (dog ears is what it is called) and now they don’t stick out of my jeans! Love it!!! ;) ;)
He is amazing at his work. I am completely amazed and he is the ONLY surgeon I will let cut me up. His work is great; he and his staff are wonderful too! Very attentive, their attitudes and demeanor are awesome and I appreciate them all!
Maybe next time I will do a breast augmentation or a lift. But we will see!

«I do not know what the comment from „Ashley D.“ is about but I sure can tell you that is completely incorrect information. Dr. Silverton and his staff are VERY passionate when it comes to their patients. I know this firsthand, having a procedure that is by far more tedious than a breast augmentation. Dr. Silverton did a great job on me and I had no issues with the post surgery results. The staff is amazing and will never „brush you off.“ IF, IF there were ANY issues before or after surgery, Dr. Silverton or his staff would be right there to find out what is going on and make sure you are comfortable in all aspects. Not only that, but you can definitely UNDERSTAND him and his staff.
I had Adomnioplasty (Tummy Tuck) & Lipo done in 2012 and I couldn’t be more happier! The results are beyond amazing. I would and have recommended him to my friends and family. In a matter of fact a friend of mine had the same surgery and she is ecstatic with the post results.
Some PRE-​Surgery words to live by: If you are not able to „understand“ a surgeon, don’t let him or her work on you. If you are NOT comfortable, do not let him work on you. ALWAYS make sure you are 100% comfortable because then you will not be happy afterwards. Don’t make bad reviews because your judgement was piss poor in the first place. Always, Always make sure you know what you want and are comfortable with what you are doing.

I went in for an augmentation and Dr. Silverton suggested a lift… a purse string lift at that. This was in March 2006, here I am eight years later with overly large nipples due to the stretching of the nipples because of the pursestring lift that was suggested. My husband did not want to hurt my feelings and tell me that my breast look worse than they did before I went in and he would’ve preferred the sagging I had prior to surgery, rather then the makeover that was supposedly done to me based on my surgery. Furthermore, I came out of surgery extremely nauseous and vomiting for the remainder of the afternoon to the point my husband was worried about dehydration. Then weeks went by and I went in for my post surgery appointment to find that my left nipple would not heal and had a small hole where the suture would not close. A small infection came about on that nipple and as a result the left breast inherited an infection to the point where the left breast was completely hard like a rock. For the past eight years I’ve had occasional sharp pains in my left breast it times, it’s been unbearable. My breast always looked over sized on the left side, and when I wore T-​shirts it look like my bra was way too small on the left breast as opposed to the right. Two years post surgery I called to report that the sharp pains were unbearable and I wanted to know about the hardness of my breast. The Coordinator advise me that I would have to pay a consultation fee, which I thought was ridiculous seeing that I paid a decent amount for this botched job. Last weekend my right breast deflated entirely, although I’m not blaming the doctor and have reported it to the manufacture I will not be taking my business back to Dr. Silverton. I have gone to three other doctors whom I feel are very well-​versed in this arena, are younger, and more up-​to-​date on recent technology, and most of all who I can trust to fix! So now I start all over eight years later with another lift and new implants. I hope my next choice will be better than the first and this time around I’m choosing someone who can do the job right. Although everything is a risk in life especially when it comes to your own body, I’m not willing to compromise my health, safety and looks with choosing Dr. Silverton again.

Got my breast augmentation and tummy tuck done on May 27^th 2014 by far the best doctor and my friends and family and husband love my results and so do I he did a fantastic job!!!

I had a breast lift and augmentation from Dr. Silverton this past January 2014. I could not be more happy with the results. The size, positioning and feel is perfect. I am very active and did not want anything too big. I just wanted to get back to the size and fullness that I had before having my daughter almost 17 years ago (34 D). Dr. Silverton is a true artist! I feel like I have my 20 something breasts back… possibly even better! Also the staff and Dr. Silverton were amazing. Very personable, kind and helpful pre and post surgery. Thank you!

Dr Silverton is just too old to still be active in a field that requires extreme tediousness and complete attention to every detail. He is hard to understand and he doesn’t completely understand you and what you are looking for. I had gotten a BA from him in 2011. Worst mistake of my entire life. I had been living in pain from that day forward. I mentioned plently of times to his staff and him that I had capsular contracture and my breast was very hard and painful. They completely brushed me off and said it was too early to tell. You don’t tell your patient that just paid you over $ 7k that they are wrong and there is no way it could have happened. Both implants were supposed to be placed under the muscle… One of the implants was placed above the muscle. Its as though he forgot or was rushed or just too damn old to remember how to perform a decent procedure. My breasts were completely butchered. The areolas didn’t match and massively stretched and I lost feeling in 1. I had so much scar tissue. My current PS couldn’t believe it either. I had to wait 2 years to finally have the mistake corrected. I, of course, went through a different surgeon. I would never ever trust this man with applying a bandaid. Beware.
I didn’t make this review to have someone act like they know more about my life and situation. Way to do damage control for this business.
