Home Thyme specializes in housewares and kitchen goods. We offer product lines that are not found in every store, such as Microplane, Vitamix, Zojirushi, All Clad, Chef’n, Lekue and many others. Private cooking events or parties are welcome and encouraged. Gift wrap is available at no charge.

History

Established in 2013.

Lynn Fochs worked at Gluskin’s Camera’s Audio Video as a bookkeeper for almost 20 years when Neil Gluskin decided to retire. Rather than focus on negative, Lynn saw the store closing as an opportunity to pursue her dream of going back to school and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. While attending school, Lynn went to work part-​time at Best Wishes, and in her free time, began experimenting in the kitchen. Through this, she discovered two of her biggest passions: working with the public, and cooking/​baking.

When Best Wishes opened a kitchen section to their store, Lynn naturally took over the department making it her «baby». While testing the different products, she came to understand what a huge difference cooking with quality kitchenware made, and was so happy to share her newfound knowledge with all her customers. This all lead Lynn to pursuing her next dream– opening her own kitchen & home store; Home Thyme.
